Awesome! And works well for tall people!
Lifesaver for my back! Glad I took a chance on this. The reviews made me nervous because people were complaining that it’s not for tall people, but my 6ft 7 husband can use it without any problem at all. It’s adjustable! I honestly think it works almost as well as my mom’s $2,000 massage chair! Would highly recommend.

Broke without any abuse whatsoever. Also, doesn't get shoulders very well.
The shiatsu massage for the back stopped working for no reason. I did not abuse my unit at all. Also, the neck piece is hard to get in and out of the slot it sits in. It's tough to adjust, and it's very difficult to get it to massage my shoulders at all. I've enjoyed other HoMedics products, so I was really disappointed in this one.

Neck massage is not comfortable unless you remove it from the back.
The main body of it is good, I really like the lower back massage. Wish you could run it longer, but the things that adjust are very nice to work different areas of the back. For me, trying to use the neck massager while it is attached to the main body is painful. Once removed and used alone, leaning back in my recliner, the neck massager works very well. Since it has to be attached to charge you cannot leave it off. The feature that massages the back and neck at the same time is useless for me, I have to use them separately.

Too small - may work for people with shorter torso?
The massage chair looks nice but the massage range for the back massage is just not enough - the top end of the massage stops well below my scapula - so reaches just above mid-back - and I’m an average sized male - 6’.Another thing to mention - while the removable headrest massager in nice in theory, it is a bit cumbersome to get it in and out of its slot. The massage itself is OK- not very strong, but if you push back into the chair I guess you can get decent pressure.Overall - not at all impressed. Massage vision I bought over two years ago made by Rhenpo was way better - unfortunately mine broke after 2 years and they no longer appear to be available on Amazon. This one is going back… going to hunt for a different one. If anyone has recommendations, please post in reply.

I'm in heaven
All right, this massager is the bee's knees. I've been collecting massage tools all year for self-care purposes as I'm a single mom and I need more self-care. I'm also an energy worker, and I can literally feel energy blockages move in my body when I get a good massage by these tools. no need for a practitioner, because some of these things can really help. This thing is pretty massive and heavy. The top part you can remove and take on the go since it is chargeable, but the main part will not work without plugging it into an outlet. I tried it sitting on the floor against the wall, sitting on my bed, and also in a recliner. Sitting in a recliner was the best when I was laying back as it felt like I was in a real massage chair. I used to go to the mall a few times a month while my son would play in a bounce house, and I would pay a pretty penny to sit in a massage chair for an hour while he played. It was something I looked forward to, but then when they shut the world down we haven't been able to do it since March which has been really sad. Well, I got my son a trampoline for inside the house and I got this for myself lol. There are numerous settings, and you just have to play around with it to see which ones you like best or what areas of your body need extra work. You can focus on the upper or lower part or do a full-on session. You also have heat options if you want that. The removable neck massager works well and has a decent charge to it. I noticed the neck massage option on the remote wouldn't light up a few times when it was all installed, but I got it to work after removing the neck massaging piece and putting it back on a few times. For some reason there wasn't a good connection after I put it back on. It will take some testing to find the perfect placement of the neck massager part since it's adjustable if you need it higher or lower. The directions are informative, and I suggest you read them fully. It also says not to use this massager more than 15 minutes at a time which could add additional stress to the unit. It does automatically shut off after a certain amount of time as well. I like that there's a strap to fold up the seat part for storage purposes if you want to put it in a closet. I can honestly say this is my favorite massager to date since it's incredibly close to the mall chair experience with the exception of having your legs worked on. Overall, this is an amazing, self-care unit and I recommend it to de-stress and pamper yourself because we all deserve it after what we've been through this year and prior.

Not for tall people
We like it, but the neck massager is good for the 5'2" person, not the 6'1" person
