Candi GRL Carlin Quad Freestyle Artistic Roller Skates

I’ve had these skates for about a month now and I’ve been using them mostly outdoors. The wheels are a little wider, which makes them feel more stable on rougher pavement, but I’ve also used them indoors and just swapped the wheels. They’ve been really versatile so far.I love the look of them and they’re surprisingly comfortable once you lace them up properly. They feel supportive around the ankle without being too stiff.One thing to note is sizing. They don’t come in half sizes, so I had to go up a size from my normal size and that worked better for me. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would recommend them for anyone skating outdoors or doing a mix of both.Great option for beginners or anyone getting back into skating.

Love my new skates! I haven't skated since I was a kid and decided to retrain myself to skate (I'm in my 50's). I've been doing pretty well. The skates are beautiful, sturdy and comfortable. True to size. After wearing them about 6-7 times, they have stretched out to fit my feet more comfortably. I recommend ordering your true size.

They were a little narrow but I got a shoe stretcher and got em stretched out enough to take 'em for a spin. Went to the roller rink and tried them for the first time they were awesome! Smooth AF and so pretty too. Gotta get me another set of wheels so I can use them outdoors too. Im definitely gonna be breaking these in more this summer. I love my Candi Girls!

These skates are perfect for outdoors! I skated on the sidewalk around my lake and on a track. The wheels did great over the cracks of the sidewalk and did more amazing on smooth pavement.The sizing is good...I am a 7 and ordered a 7 and they fit great. Not tight and not too loose...Amazingly comfortable with great support! The wheels are the perfect size and softness for outside. I would change the wheels if you plan on using them inside.I have been skating over 20yrs and would definitely recommend these for outdoor use

These skates fit great. I wear a women's size 10, so I ordered a 10. They seem sturdy enough, feel very comfortable, but after skating in higher quality dance skates, these skates seem a little on the clunky side. It's easier to turn quickly and go faster in my dance skates. These skates are totally cute and I love the color, especially the glitter wheels, but I'm afraid I will have to sell them. I spent the extra money to go with a pair of skates about triple the cost, which I'm thrilled with. These are great budget beginner skates. If you plan to skate a lot, you might be ready for an upgrade sooner than later.

I have 3 other pairs of skates waiting to be returned to Amazon due to issues with being narrow and I finally found these. I wear a 8.5 shoe and ordered these in a 9. My feet are slightly wide and these are perfect! I'm obsessed with the retro vibe. So excited I can stop shopping for skates and start skating!

Absolutely LOVE them!! I did so much research before I bought these. Was worried when people said it would take awhile to wear them in. When they arrived they were super hard. My foot felt scrunched up and hurt. Almost panicked and thought about sending them back. But I ended up working the leather by hand and essentially pushed on it and bent it until it became soft. Probably took about 5 minutes of kneading and manipulating the leather with my hand (per boot). And when I put them back on, they were super comfortable. I immediately took them to the skating rink and skated 3 1/2 hours with no problems. They are super smooth. You can go fast on them and they maneuver well. They offer really good ankle support. I think they’re great for beginners but I think I’ll be keeping these for a very long time. The color of the suede is beautiful and I love the color of the wheels as well. One of the people working there had the same pair but her wheels weren’t as bright and she commented that she liked mine better. I would highly recommend. It’s true that you have to break them in. Totally worth it, though.

I’m comparing the VNLA Parfait in size 7 to Candi Grl Carlin in size 8. I typically wear a womens 7.5 and almost exclusively wear barefoot shoes. My toe box is wide and I have higher volume feet. I’m wearing mid weight boot socks.I read that Parfait was the way to go for wide feet and to size down if you’re a half size. Although both boots appeared similar in length, I found the Parfait boot too short (felt my toes touching) and the toe box is visibly more pointed/narrow. The Carlins’ boot is much more flexible, which allowed me to get a better fit in the foot. It didn’t rub/bind anywhere during my try-on and still felt sufficiently padded.The wheels and (bolt on) toe stop of the Carlins are noticeably larger than the Parfait’s, but those are changeable.The colors options in the Carlins are less my taste than the Parfaits, but comfort wins out and so does price! (The size/color combo I selected happened to be on sale).I’m looking forward to taking these to the local rink with my family now that the littles are big enough to skate.

Beautiful skates, easy to use, value for money, study, long lasting, great fit, great colour. 10/10

I am a size UK 3.5 and these are EU36.5 Amazon 5 (US) I am wearing really thin socks and happy with the fit. Toes are able to spread I have also laced to allow the toe box room as the boot continues to soften from wear. No pain or discomfort feels great just sometimes the tongue moves around and causes irritation if not tied down properly. I love that it's padded but not too much and very figure skate like. I haven't tried the wheels they are not gummy at all, hard but very big 65mm. *Edit The bushings were not straight cut and wonky.

Wow! Cannot believe the great quality of skate for the price. I was a bit unhappy paying what I did initially because I doubted if my teenager would continue skating. I imagined one use then thrown under the stairs for the rest of all time but absolutely not the case. She loved these skates so much. Felt the bees knees in them. Loves the kind of retro style look about them. All hee friends said they liked them. Sge had gone skating many times in them and still in great shape. Would highly recommend.
