Star Wars: The Force Awakens Kylo Ren 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

This is my first hot toys figure, and it is awesome. I love the cloth, and attention to the detail. Here's the break down Mold/Sculpt Five Stars The molding on Kylo is awesome, they captured the folds in his tunic, the dents and scratch marks on his helmet. The lightsaber is what sold me.. all the detail is sculpted and painted on this saber.. not once TWICE. the cloth on him is really good as well, and even though light on him it is layered perfectly. the clothing has a tiny grid texture on it like in the movie.. Articulation Four Stars The articulation is where it fails a bit... but I understand why... it is a cloth suit over the figure. The arms will do a full 360 rotation... but don't do it the cloth at the shoulder would break. the an crunch is awesome allowing you to give him that hunched over look. his arms can let you get him into almost any pose you can think of with out stretching the fabric. his legs are great, they move easily, and let you get that wide stance. his pants will stretch out SLIGHTLY, but I wouldn't leave it in that pose long. his feet are on a ball joint and allow for crazy range below the ankles and above the boots. the wrists are able to turn and swivel on a hinge. Accessories Five Stars Kylo comes with a good amount of accessories, though one stands out more then the others.. He comes with three pairs of hands, Fists, gripping saber hands, relaxed hands and a right hand doing his force stop/push. He comes with a stand, and a right arm from the elbow, with a light up lightsaber. I tried to swap out the arm for pictures, but didn't want to put stress on the joints And the batteries ARE included for the lightsaber arm. All in all its a great figure and will look awesome in your collection.

Hands down the most realistic collectable I've ever seen in my life. Hot Toys never disappoints, and this is no different. Articulation is fantastic, lightsaber detail is picture perfect, blade is nice and straight. The little wire inside the hood is an awesome touch and adds a more realistic lay to the hood whether up or down.

Hot Toys are the absolute best in every detail!! And this price was really good!! Really got a good deal & just luv it!!!!

All the hot toys figures I have got have been awesome, this one is no different great detail and can be put into many poses

I was looking forward to receiving this item, and at £210+ it's quite a considered purchase for a figure. That being said, the pictures on the site looked great, and of all the Kylo Ren figures available, this looked to have the quality I was looking for. Amazon delivered the item promptly and it was well packaged and received with no damage. The outer packaging for the figure is of high quality and looks/feels expensive. Inside, the figure and all accessories are securely and logically presented. So far so good. So why the relatively low score? While the figure looks quite nice, the overall quality didn't match my expectations. For example, the head, while nicely detailed, felt loose, cheep and hollow. The quality of the clothing also failed to wow me, but this wasn't helped by the way Hot Toys had packaged the item (with the rear of the robe bent upwards on itself instead of being packaged flat). This resulting in deep creases in the rear of the robe which prevented it from hanging off the figure naturally. I'm sure this would have dropped out after a couple of weeks, but that's not really the point when you are spending top $$. Overall then, for me I was expecting more for the price I paid. Had this been £80 - £120 then I could see myself keeping it, but as it stands, the overall quality doesn't justify the price. On a side note, Amazon reduced the price of this item a day or two after I placed my order (from £212 to £198). While only a modest reduction, I contacted Amazon and very politely asked if they would consider refunding me the difference, which resulted in a flat out 'NO' and the agent abruptly ending the call. Certainly not one of Amazon's finest moments in customer service!

Kylo looks great but unsure if it's worth the price (£195 at time of writing). His only accessory is a lightsaber hilt and he is a pretty basic figure. Box had minor defects as was not packaged to the extent a specialised collectable site would but not anything to do with Hot Toys.
