Great bit of kit

Bought this to mix shellac for wood working. It works. It is adjustable. It is quiet. It stirs.

Another great little gadget. No more struggling for things to dissolve, this does it all for you. My husband mixes chemicals for his fish tank and this really does make it so much easier for him. He can also carry on with something else while it mixes..

The stirrer itself is great, especially for the price but it came with a non-UK power supply (12v centre positive). Not a massive issue as I had a UK one to hand but would have been had I needed to buy one separately.

Works absolutely fantastic. I’m just about to insert the magnet into a potato to see if it can spin about experimenting people enjoy. Obviously it’s capable of any fluid you want as well, but everyone can see it on YouTube.

I didn't need a heater and this fullfills my needs perfectly. Simple, good value and effective.

I use the stirrer for yeast starters, involving 48 hour continuous runs. I bought this stirrer to replace a unit that gave up half way through the second starter. This one gave up half way through the third. Following up previous recommendations I discovered it was the PSU which had given up. I am now running on 9V batteries, waiting for a decent PSU to arrive. Good stirrer, just a rubbish PSU. Barry C. Hayden

Great product fast shipping

Solid, minimal, efficient stirrer for a hobbyist. Unsuitable to large volumes or heavy duty use, it is nevertheless, just about perfect for experimenters. Second one from this brand I have purchased over the years (improvements tempted me to abandon my earlier model, which worked HARD for years).

this works great for Lab equipment I have not tried this on volumetric flasks but it might work Now I have a round bottom flask that I use but I think I need different stir bars I would recommend a football shaped stir bar either way it's still works decent and I have used it for a while The only problem I have seen so far is that the lowest setting doesn't even stir If you are trying to reach low speed then put it at a higher one and slowly turn the knob downwards Besides that I haven't seen any problems with it however I would maybe recommend some more bars Because I lost one =( Also something that's funny you can even take off the knob And if you touch the main part then it's actually kind of sticky It's nice that you can take it off for cleaning purposes Also another thing one time my brother poured water all over the stir plate I quickly dried it off and it still worked I still wouldn't recommend pouring water all over it to test it I think it might be waterproof but don't test it still
