Easy to use, cost-effective
I had not heard of this brand before doing some research online. The products work great, and I have a good signal across my entire house. The setup was remarkably easy through the app, which allows you to scan a QR code on the back of each device.I have no regrets about this purchase; It works as advertised, was exceptionally easy to set up, and had the right price point for my budget.

Easy Installation
I have been putting off replacing my old equipment for years until I saw this Mesh unit. After watching various videos on the Tenda installation, I finally took a chance of working with my network. To my surprise and delight, the installation was better than advertised! In less than 30 minutes, I replaced my router, increased coverage throughout the house, and gained more speed than I ever could have imagined! I sincerely recommend this unit for anyone looking to improve their home network.

UPDATED - Undependable Performance
UPDATED REVIEW: Now that these are past their return date, their true colors have emerged. Dropping from 4 out of 5 star to 1 out of 5.My home is two story and 4000 sq/ft. I have a 1 Gig speed package (verified wired speed). I purchased the Tenda Nova MW-12 bundle as an upgrade to a first generation Google WiFi Router Mesh system.PROS: When they work, they work great.CONS: The first issue is even when back-planed (the units are hard wired to each other via Ethernet Cat 6 cable) throughput is slow. I recently upgraded to a GIG internet plan. If I connect my laptop to the modem/router I get gig performance. The MW12 connected directly to the router delivers 400 Mbps wireless speed. The MW12 in my office (50 foot CAT6) drops to 90 Mbps. In addition, the MW12 units that are not back-planed experience random wireless service drop outs. The ROKU in the bedroom, which never had a problem with the slower Google Mesh, loses connectivity to the network every few days. This is even after doubling the number of MW12 mesh units from three to six. Wireless speed also drops of dramatically with distance from an access point. That 400 Mbps near the router drops to 90 Mbps at >15 feet.CONCLUSION: If you need reliable wireless for work from home, uninterrupted streaming or gaming, buy something else.

Throughput is amazing
I have the MW12 for about 2 weeks now. After struggling with my wifi signal around the house for ages, having the MW12 was an instant relief. I now have full signal in every room as well as all around outside my house. The throughput is amazing.I would score it 5 stars if the management interface allowed for more advanced settings. Everything else works exceedingly well. The "parental controls" are really only a time limit you can set on a group of devices. The app appears to do intermittent polling, so you never truly see "real-time" usage as they claim.Definitely meant for plug-and-play kind of use. If you want more network related features, I'd suggest bridging it with another router.A great buy to exponentially expand coverage and throughput.

CenturyLink Fiber Users: No VLAN setting here! Will need another router
October 2022 -- For 90% of the DSL, cable, or direct internet users here, the Tenda MW12 is a great system, easy to setup, easy to use, strong signals, and has decent node switching while moving about the house. For the price, a great deal from a little known company. For anyone on a fiber network (I have CenturyLink), you will still need another router in front of the primary MW12 node as you can not set a VLAN id, in this case 201 for CenturyLink in the PPoE settings. Its just not there. So, for my setup, I have my old Asus with wifi turned off, acting as my PPoE router to the fiber ONT, and then have the Tenda MW12 in bridge mode. This way the same IP network shows up on the Tenda wifi and no dual nat situation present (you can also do a static network route from your main router to the Tenda network). However, the bridge mode only showed up after I did a firmware upgrade on the Tendas.Long story, I will probably return the MW12s as the entire point was to go direct from the Fiber ONT to the MW12 and that's it. I do have a 8 port tenda unmanaged switch connected to the MW12 as most of my office gear is CAT6 connected and those work great, but mind you, the MW12s only have 2 RJ45 ports on the bottom.

Easy to install. Works well
Had a set of three and it worked so well, I’ve added another set of three. Have tried many other options and this is my favorite. Range extenders only work as well as the weakest link. A well configured mesh can work even better than the best link in the system. Each node receives from all the other nodes it can reach and adds it to the available bandwidth. So if a node in my kitchen receives a great signal (100%) from the base station and a poor signal (20%) from my bedroom, then if I’m in the kitchen, I get to use up to 120% of the rated bandwidth. This is extremely easy to setup. Do not understand why it is getting some knocks. It works great.
