Lovely oil / Poor presentation / Overpriced
I received this oil for testing purposes. Been using it for a couple of weeks, mainly as my bath addition. I simply dilute some amount of the oil in water, and use it as a moistorizer addition.I'm a loyal fan of aromatherapy and buy and use different oils frequently, in diffusers, add them to bath, etc. I appreciate scents, relaxation and moisturizing effect. This exact product is claimed to be 100% natural and pure. No certification proof provided, though. It is made in India, so I guess we just have to believe it is made with care. It's not a cheap product at all (17£ for 30ml), however, packaging did look a bit cheap and was covered with cello tape. There's a bottle and a pippet inside, so once you open, you can replace the lid with a pippet, which supposed to make the dispensing process easier. Unfortunately, it's not. Pippet made the way you can only "pump" a very small amount in one go. It seems like there's some plastic inside it and this makes it a bit uncomfortable to use.A huge minus for me is absence of a child safety approved lid... The bottle opens very easy and needs to be stored somewhere with no kids access. This oil you need to dilute in water or add to other oils (like body lotion). The scent is not great, to be honest. A bit woody and not gentle if not diluted. However, if added to other oils, it "opens up" quite nice. Nice on a skin as well, no irritation noticed. For me this oil doesn't represent "value for money", unfortunately. It's lovely oil, but clearly overpriced and not greatly presented. Overall, it's 3 stars.

Pure natural essential oil 100% brought relief to my elbow tendinitis.
I was very pleased to find this Bay leaf essential oil by Greenwood Essential. The problem with many essential oils is that they are supplied in a bottle with a fixed dropper. These can be too restrictive to dispense, especially if the oil is thick and resinous. The bay leaf oil comes in a 30 ml dark bottle with a tamper proof cap. When removed there is a plastic stopper that allows you to pour the oil for use or dilution easily. The pack also comes with a screw on dropper as an alternative way of dispensing the oil. Very thoughtful! Thank-you Greenwood Essential ...Bay leaf oil has a many uses, from a wonderfully scented disinfectant to a sleep aid, to a massage oil for muscle pains. I have been using this oil (diluted with almond carrier oil) as a massage for my elbow with tendinitis. After a week, I can really notice the benefit of the oil and the pain and stinging has definitely subsided. I apply the oil last thing at night and the rich spicy aroma of the oil also helps me sleep. To describe the scent, I would say it's close to aniseed or fennel. Now add the slightest hint of tea tree oil and a dash of sweet marjoram. The combination feels warm, peppery, exotic, spicy and calming. The scent of this oil by itself is very therapeutic and I can see benefits for aromatherapy users. It's medicinal properties are also highly recommended and I can certainly vouch for its ability to relieve tenderness and pain in muscles and joints. Never used this before, but very glad I've found it an will buy more when it's gone.

Bay Essential Oil, botanical name: Pimenta racemosa, is sometimes confused with Bay Laurel Essential Oil, botanical name: Laurus nobilis. Although they share the same name, probably due to the similar shape of their leaves, they are not the same. Very strong smell
Before you even open the packaging you can smell the beautiful aroma of the warm, spicy smells. This oil is very strongly scented, I only use this is my oil difuser and the smell really does last and fills the room with the woody/spicy scent.Good shelf life not exprires until 2023.There is no instructions or warnings on the box but very extensive directions and uses on the product description. It clearly states on the product description you must use a carrier oil if applying to the skin. This isn't the sort of product you would buy on a whim as the price may seem on the high side but I do enjoy a good quality oil in my diffuser and this oil certainly delivers on it's aromatic thick scent.
