Good Tubes
I haven't installed the tube yet but it appears to be of high quality and should do the job perfectly. I would purchase the same brand again.

Better than OEM!
This tube absolutely surprised me! The quality is far better than OEM. Very thick. Made install so much easier not having to worry about poking a hole in it. I have had it aired up to 22 psi for a few weeks and it has not lost a single pound.

Thick tube
Very thick tube. The OEM one popped way too easily. This one should be much sturdier.

Great for Dual Sport/Dirt bike, BAD for ADV Bike
I have purchased these twice to use on my 2017 BMW F800 GS.First, these are great tubes. I've "pinched" one before and it only left a small indent on the tube, it didnt actually tear a hole in the tube. As far as durability, they are almost "pinch-proof" and they can take a beating.Very thick, very durable rubber. Easy to install. I find that being thicket, the tubes are more rigid and this makes it much easier to take on and off and gives peace of mind. I'm always worried I'm gunna tear the tube when I remove a standard tube (like the Michellin tubes... nice tubes but fragile). The rigidity of the Pivotrax also makes it easier to get the valve thru the hold and also helps prevent it from pinching when spooning a tire on.They also hold up well off road when aired down. I really like these tubes for off road and think they are ideal for riding in the dirt for things like the TAT or BDR trips. However, I really hate using them on my F800 GS. I also commute on my bike and have friends with cruisers and street bikes, so I'm joining them on the pavement alot. These tubes are HEAVY and they are a HUGE PAIN to balance. I've purchased 2 of these tubes and used them on 4 different tires... with these tubes installed I've only been able to get my wheel balanced once, and even then I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried 9 different times to balance a wheel with these tubes installed and they just wont balance. When they're off balance, the front wheel "hops" at a certain speed range. Usually with these tubes you can feel the off-balance "hops" from 20mph to ~50 mph.First tube I got I installed it in a Shinko 705. Awful off-balance "hops" at normal cruising speeds that stabilized and rode smooth at 70mph. Changed to a TKC80 tire with this tube. Still couldnt balance. Changed to a Heidenau K60 with this tube. Still couldnt balance. Use the Heidenau K60 tire and swapped out the Pivotrax for a Michellin tube, balanced perfectly. 6 months later I get a flat due to the Michellin tube getting punctured. I swap in the Pivotrax tube. Couldnt get it to balance. Swaped to a Bridgestone tube, balanced up perfectly. Few months later had to change tires. Installed a Shinko 705 with this tube again. Wouldnt balance. Change Pivotrax for Bridgestone tube. Balanced up nice and rides smooth. Then came another tire change. I got another Shinko 705 and tried this tube again. This time, it sort of balanced. It was balanced better than before, but not perfect. Still had a slight hop from 20-45mph but less noticeable, but also had noticeable balancing instability at speeds over 80mph. However, this Shinko I put on started showing some problems with the tread falling apart, so I just swapped it for another Heidenau K60 a week ago and installed this Pivotrax tube. Couldnt get it to balance at all. So, a few days ago I pulled the Pivotrax tube out and installed a new Michellin tube and voila, wheel is perfectly balanced and rides smooth as glass.I really want to like these tubes, they just really dont work well on an ADV bike unfortunately unless you're riding 100% off road where slightly imperfect wheel balance isnt as critical as it is when you're cruising at 75mph on the interstate. One of these days when I get a CRF or DRZ I'll probably use these exclusively since they're great off road.
