Good Money Saver
I'm giving 5 stars because these rings do serve a purpose of saving money in the long run, especially when using them for four different size lenses. I did find that they do stick. But that was easily overcome by using 2 cheap soft rubber jar grippers. They can be found in any Home & Kitchen section. By holding one on each of the 2 rings I wanted separated I was able to get a better grip so that I could rotate them for separation. It worked with no damage to the rings. When I'm tightening them to my lenses, I'm careful not to tighten too much. I've been using them every day with my different filters and they all seem to fit well. I have no issues there. The rings appear to be of good quality for what they were made to do.

It works. What more could you ask for?
Not terribly complicated to use. It's aluminum so it's lightweight but at the same time pretty durable. You really wouldn't be handling these too roughly so there shouldn't be any reason for them to break on you. If they do, you were either tightening them more than you should be or you're throwing them around carelessly. Still, it's not like you have to handle them delicately either. Just casual, normal use and they'll hold up just fine. If you have filters or other attachments that need an adapter, these work very well. I'm happy with them. You probably will be, too.

Works with one caveat
As others have mentioned, you have to be careful when screwing these rings on, the threads are super fine but it is something to worry about. Using this on the Canon 24mm pancake lens with all the step up rings, no vignetting. However, using this on the Canon 10-16mm lens with a 67mm filter size, along with a UV ring already installed, there is vignetting even with needing just one step up ring. But overall, quality is as expected, good to have for the cheap price.

Makes my filters more versatile
As I've gotten deeper into photography, my collection of lenses and filters has grown. I'm using full size DSLR camera and a micro four thirds camera. Having a set of step up rings allows me to use my filters on most of the lenses, regardless of size or camera system. This means that I don't have to buy multiple sizes of the same filter, just to fit the various lenses. For instance, I wanted to use a 67mm diffusion filter on a 58mm lens. I attached the corresponding rings onto the lens, then added the filter (see photos). The photos I took were clear, with no vignetting. The rings are metal and fit together well. I haven't encountered any slippage.I'm well satisfied with these filter rings. I recommend them.

Get the job done.
Nothing to say except they do what they are supposed to do. Quality build, solid fit, and easy to install and remove.

They work well, but are very light and don't install as smooth as brass. Good for occasional use.
If you are looking for rings that you will not use very often, and will remove from the lens/filter promptly after each use, I think these rings will be fine, and for the great price, they can be handy to have around as a set just in case. I would not trust that they will be easy to remove if you leave them attached to a lens and/or filter in your bag for weeks as they don't feel as smooth as the more expensive brass rings when you apply or remove them. With their very thin, light nature and lack of a good gripping surface, I fear that getting them off after extended times mounted could be a big challenge. However, for the price, they are a very good value for occasional use, and I have not had any problems at all using them in that manner.
