I love these Walkie Talkies. We use them all the time. We ended up buying another pair so we could have more on hand for any house projects we would work on. The sound quality is good, the lifespan of it is pretty long, it is easy to clip on and stay on, and the communication waves can still be picked up for well over a mile. You do have to press and hold the button pretty hard in order to talk, but it works really well. there are a total of 16 channels you can choose from, and 16 is the channel that anything can pick up on. Sometimes if we leave it on by accident, we will have some random interference come across it on channel 16 from people who are talking in Spanish (Which we have hardly any people who speak Spanish within 30 miles of us) so that confuses me where that is coming from, but other than that, it is perfect. It charges really quickly and I can understand the voices that come through really well.

I really love these little radios and so do my kids. (Age 3 and 5) We use them when my kids are at their dad’s house, and they’ve made communication so much easier. One stays with him and I keep the other. Even though we live less than half a mile apart, there are several buildings and businesses between us, and these still work well for quick check‑ins.We also took them on a literal “test drive” to see how far they’d reach. The range definitely depends on the surroundings. In areas with a lot of trees, the signal would cut out here and there. But in more open spaces — like on the highway — we were able to get about a mile to a mile and a half of clear communication.Pros:• Great for short‑range communication, even with buildings in between• Easy for kids to use• Clear audio in open areas• Perfect for co‑parenting or quick check‑insCons:• Range drops in heavily wooded areas• Not ideal for long‑distance useOverall, these have been super helpful for our family. They’re simple, reliable, and give me peace of mind when the kids are at their dad’s house.

Great quality, sound quality is perfect, no noise when not talking. There's only two things I would ask for from them for future models. Make the volume a little louder, and if you could notify the person on the other end that you're trying to call them with the sound off (or even if both radios are on). It would be nice if there was a specific beep you could send the other person. Other than that they have it all, they're rugged, small, lightweight, excellent sound, charging cradles, and good range as far as I can tell. I haven't tested that fully, but we have a big yard and they work for someone a couple hundred feet away in the garden and someone inside the house (the reason I bought them). They would be great when convoying except the battery life wouldn't be very good unless you had spare batteries charged up. I think they're great value overall.

They work like they should, they have accessories, they are easy to use, they are easy to charge and they come at a great price. It's a win. They are light & little plastic feeling but nothing that I didn't expect. The feature that I enjoy the most is the analog twist dial for channels. My other set had digital search for channels and for some reason it was hard to pair the set so I like these so much more.

Work very well. Very durable. I have dropped quite a few times and nothing has broken. Yet. Very dependable and you can hear very clearly. Takes between an hour or two for it to fully charge after initial charge depending on usage. Works for me.

In some rural areas, I still do not have enough ATT cell coverage to penetrate into shopping centers or even Home Depot and Sams Club type large bldgs. Paxton type 888-S walkie talkies are great when my wife goes one way and go another.My 5 to 12 y.o. grandkids can operate these when they visit, and I dont fear losing one..(.walkie walkie I mean.)My Wisconsin property is 48 acres, incl 20 of forest. Very seldom if ever, do I recall anyone out of range , but I usually step out on the porch to call, just to help a bit.These are not kid toy level. They actually work for adults at campgrounds, etc. Sound is as clear as any, a lot better than average. BEST VALUE BUY !!

Love these. Got them for a family number that was ill. The walkies work very well. They worked as said. Family numbers live on the same street. We have had no problems. I will definitely say they have help keeping their Independence. Will buy again if needed. Highly recommend

A group of friends and I all purchased these walkie talkies to use in Breckenridge, Colorado to stay in communication while on a ski trip. At one point, I was walking around town shopping for souvenirs while the rest of our group was at the very top of the mountain on a double black. I was able to hear and speak to them from where I was! Definitely an awesome product and proved itself to be better range than I expected. When you are skiing, it's pretty difficult to pull out a phone if you want to call for someone because it requires you to take your gloves off most of the time, or the screen fogs up, etc. With the walkies you can easily clip it onto your clothes and communicate with a press of a button. We even put stickers to customize our own walkies to personalize them. Easy to charge, easy to use, battery lasts a long time, and affordable. I would recommend this to anyone doing an outdoors trip!

El funcionamiento es sencillo y de muy buena calidad. No los he usado a muy larga distancia pero hasta ahorita todo muy bien.
