Great for eliminating inflammation and joint pain. You can make a delicious tea, add honey. Tasty and healthy and I achieved results within 5 days as I had read was possible.

SO happy with this purchase!
I never much knew the smell of turmeric, my sister had some and put it into tea with cardamom and cinnamon and I do cook lentils a lot and it's in a lot of East Indian recipes. Sometimes I stick my nose in the jar and inhale taking in the scent (I move items into glass storage containers). It's a beautiful color, fragrance, and gets soft and maybe dissolves in my cooked items. Musky sweetness. Be careful, it stains - clean up any spills quickly. I use stainless steel pans and even after a few days and reheating (steeping) the teas or bean dishes, it still didn't stain the pans.

It’s a very thick cut. Need to deep the tea for at least 5-10 minutes. Great taste!
