Which drive socket for a vitamix 4500 ? Mine does not have Allen key on side nor ability to reach ?

Sorry I no longe have that vitamix and can’t remember the Allen size. It was small.

A great do-it-yourself repair

Worked great! I called and emailed vitamix directly for help and they were incredibly dismissive because my blender was out of warranty. So glad I checked Amazon reviews to see if I could replace this on my own.

I was unable to get the little screw in, but it still works.

The only thing I disliked was, I was unable to put the screw in. I tried and tried, but it works fine without it.
