First issue: This set is described as being made of "microfiber," which is a euphemism for polyester. Polyester is notoriously BAD at absorbing, and that is certainly the case with this item. Trying to wipe a kitchen counter with the dishcloths is absolutely futile, as they just move the mess around and do not gather it up. (Think trying to clean up your counter top with a piece of copy paper.) The drying mat does absorb water but if it gets too damp it just leaks out the bottom. And the dish towels are so thin that they are transparent in the checkered part of the design (see photo). Second issue: Take the description seriously when it says the potholders are heat resistant up to 350 degrees. What it doesn't say is that above 350, they will scorch and burn within seconds. The second photo was one of the potholders the very next day after we received the order. It was (stupidly, admittedly) lying on the toaster oven when a piece of bread was lightly toasted. After this happened, we measured the heat on the top of the toaster oven with two different thermometers; one read 325 degrees and the other read 300 degrees. So if you ever plan to bake anything above 300 degrees, do not trust these to protect your hands or to remain good looking. If you want a pretty set for your kitchen, this might fit your bill, but if you do any actual cooking/cleaning in your kitchen, don't waste your money!

I bought these because I needed something affordable, the 1st time using the mit to get something out of the oven & it burned. I gave 3 stars because I actually like the Towels, they're on the thin side, but still do the job.

I have not used them yet but they seem to be durable. I especially like the dish clothes because they have two different textures which I think will be beneficial when getting food that stick off of the plate easier.

The towels are cheap terry so not terribly absorbant, and the mitts at thin. But the towel colors don't run in the wash, and the mitts work fine, so am pleased.

It's a nice-looking set but not very usable. The cloths will be used for dry dusting, it's about the only thing they're good for, they actually push water around without absorbing it. I ruined the mitt right away by brushing against the heating element in the electric oven and the outside of the mitt immediately melted. Such a pretty set, but totally wrong materials.

Seems cheaply made. A bit rough to the touch. Not very soft or absorbent. The oven mit is thin and your hand can feel the heat through it.

I loved the color of these towels and potholders as they matched my kitchen perfectly; however, the towels are not absorbent at all. I have washed them 3x so far, and no change. I use them on the counter when I air dry my dishes. Pot holders are thin so can you feel the heat of the pans through them.

These potholders melt! I love the color. I used the the square pot holders to hold a hot pan and they stuck together.
