Double Sided Rug Tape - Heavy Duty Double Sided Carpet Tape for Area Rugs

This tape is very easy to use and it works! I measured and cut the tape and put the stick side on the back of the rug and then pulled the pulled the protective side along as I placed the rug onto my hardwood floor. Been about 2 weeks and it is firmly in place. I put the tape to the end of the corners and they haven't curled up yet either. Time will tell. Would definitely purchase it again. Hopeful that it won't damage my floor as the description states it is safe on hardwood.

Bought rubber-backed stair treads for my hardwood stairs because they were getting slippery, but they shifted around, so I added this rug tape—two strips per tread, front and back. Very sticky but easy to work with once applied; pressed the treads down firmly and they're now secure. Only been a week, so I can't vouch for long-term hold, but since I'm keeping the treads permanently, the no-residue claim doesn't matter to me. Happy with the results

Carpet on carpet. Very sticky. Little tricky to put down but I took it slow and placed on carpet first then peeled back. Working well. Rug stays in place now.

I bought rubber-backed stair treads for my hardwood stairs because my older dog started having trouble navigating the bare steps and slipped a few times. The treads were okay but did move a bit and I had to keep adjusting them. I didn't feel they were secure enough so I bought this rug tape. I cut and placed two strips on each tread, front and back edges as recommended. The tape is very sticky but if you take your time, it is easy to work with. It stuck very well on the rubber backing and on the step and after pushing on and rubbing the tread a bit on the step, it was quite secure. Since I only used this about a week ago, I can't speak to whether the stickiness will hold up over time. It says there is no residue if you remove the tape but it is not a concern because I have decided to always keep treads on the stairs for safety. My dog is much more comfortable/confident going up and down the stairs so I am happy with the results.

This tape is very strong and easy to use. It holds the rug securely in place and keeps it from sliding around. Easy to cut and apply, and a little goes a long way. Very happy with the quality and would definitely buy it again!

Extremely difficult to remove from without it wrinkling to the point it is no longer useful.

Did this product work?? YES! I have not tripped on this rug since the tape went on! If it works this great on a rug on top of a carpet; I have no doubt it will work on rug to floor! The roll I bought is way more than I need; but that's ok. Maybe I can use it on something else

I was so happy to find this double-sided tape, but the end result was very bad. When I lifted the rugs to remove the tape from the floor and the rugs, it took off the rubber backing from the rug and lifted wood from my wood floor. So now I have permanent damage and have to throw away my rugs.
