Works great, looks great
Great looking finish if done properly, seams very durable so far.FYI this leans more towards the green side of the FDE spectrum than towards the brown., which is not the color I was hoping for, but that's not a negative of the product. I took a gamble hoping it would be closer to what I wanted than what it is, but that's my doing. Having said that, I do like this color, and will buy it again, along with other AlumaHyde paints.

Good product IF you are patient!
A good match for Flat Dark Earth. I have used Cerakote and Duracote in the past. Both of those applications required baking. Cerakote is thin, Duracote is thick. I'd say Aluma-Hyde II is somewhere in between. The finish was good and hard once it cured, but THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is to allow two to three weeks for it to fully cure. I put the parts in the sun as often as I could, it seems to speed the curing process, but it still takes 2 to 3 weeks for it to cure.I can't comment on how durable it is, but I like it better than Duracote and it's not as glossy as Cerakote, so I'm happy.

Super easy just make sure to prep your work
Matches magpul flat dark earth very well only time you can tell a difference is when using a flash on a cameraOnly did my mags to check the color firstWire brushed mags cleaned with brake cleaner let them set in the 90 degree sun for a little while then applied first coat and then two more then baked them in the oven at 100 for 4 hrs product came out super hard and ready to goHave not had any chips or scratches yet pretty happy with this product

It's Kinda Like Fancy Spray Paint
This stuff is better than spray paint but only for its resistance to solvents. My biggest complaint about this is that the colors are different from batch to batch. That's why I didn't buy the OD Green or Earth Brown. I thought Coyote was a safe bet because if it was darker or lighter than the cap, it would still look okay. The cap on my can of "Coyote" was almost a metallic gray color and, when dry, my gun looked closer to foliage green than any shade of tan. Good thing I wasn't trying to match it to any pre-existing accessories because it wouldn't have. Easier to apply than Duracoat and MUCH cheaper than Ceracoat.

Good Stuff!!
I used this on my raw metal upper, lower, and hand guard. It turned out better than expected. I let it cure in the attic above my garage (nice and hot) for over a week. It's strong and came out lookin good

Color is a little off but this paint is tough.
This paint is very durable. Although the finish came out a little rough and really isn't exactly a coyote tan. It really doesn't match magpul fde but fortunately I wasn't trying to match it with this build so it doesn't bother me. Over all I am pretty happy with it but brownells needs to pay more attention to quality and consistency. Previous cans I have used yielded better results. I recommend using a little on a test piece before committing to an entire project.

Wear resistance.
Great finish. Pictures look green but it's a nice tan. It's tougher than I expected and worth it as I can re-apply at home.

Horrible color
VERY expensive, takes for ever to arrive... comes out vomit green color.Followed the instructions to the letter, even used a temperature laser to check temps and made sure to use the abnormal distance. It's just the wrong color, looks NOTHING like coyote, it's a weird shade of green/brown.Waste of time and money :(
