Used these to power some lights through an RC car body

You'll need to make sure to use a 12v dc power source. there is only around 9v that is transmitted so the rest is turned into heat. The transmitter and coil is getting quite hot for me. If the coil did not get so hot I'd give a better review.

Anyone know where I can find these again ? These are the very very best . 1.325” is the furthest distance on these but I’ve gotten longer distances through thicker layers or wood for a charging table with speakers . And I put 3 of these things … absolutely fantastic !! I use it for my phone on the go a lot … you can power it 3v -15vdc or a simple 18650 will last a long time .. range and power .. can’t find anything except this junk that looks ok I guess .. comments are ok .. but these components in my photos are definitely what someone looking for these doesn’t even know they are missing out .. no wires to accidentally sever or pinch when mounting tight places .. it’s 2 simple solder joints on each pad .. very thin .. if you place a thin magnet behind it you can add 1/3 extra distance … which is pretty good considering your already past 1” without it ..

I used a AC -> DC at 10V, and 2 amps, above the recommended 1.1 amps, and burned out the transmitter. Careful with your power source.

Didn't work right off the bat. Receiver end was DOA making both parts useless.
