Unfortunately, we don't have any replacement parts available as of the moment.

Can I easily screw off arms if desired?

Definitely! The four arms just have one screw connecting them and don't need to be more than hand tight. You can easily remove the arms if you wanted to. The little claw hands screw off as well and are easily removed and/or replaced. The only caution I'd give is that the four little black feet aren't held on very well with adhesive and the screws hold them on. So if you wanted to remove an arm I'd recommend attaching the foot with super glue or something.

Are the arms held on magnetically Like other's ?

No, they arms are screwed into a very sturdy, steel base with sturdy rubber feet.

I noticed the round film on bottom side of helping hands comes off easily, revealing the magnet. Is this film supposed to stay on??

Yes. It has a strong magnetic base that is adjustable and can be positioned anywhere you want. You can put it on any ferrous surface-car door, iron plate and so on.
