Fancy, soft, the stand is metal , the cup is convenient to dry it or put the shaving cream and also holds the razor too. overall, good purchase. like it.

I like it a lot, looks good, well made. My bowl has not had any problems yet with the paint after 1 week. I do wish the bowl was ceramic, but oh well. Brush is great, nice and soft, and looks good .The only real reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it requires a very long razor, mine was too short so I had to modify the holder.

Its a nice and soft brush, the bowl is just big enough for the soap i bought, the frame is well made, ive only used it for couple of weeks so far but the bowl has a black coat that got scrapped away from the soap sitting in it and it got into the foam but its not so bad, i just scrapped it away and with my finger very easily, other than that its very nice.

It's sturdy and looks great. I love the later brush. I will never go back to can shaving cream again!

This takes me way back to my childhood when I would watch my Dad shave. However I thought well if it doesn’t work all that well I can just leave it on my sink counter for display. To my surprise it works great and helps to soften your whiskers so you get a better shave.

I have used this bowl and brush set now for about 6 months. It is fine for me as I have small hands and the shaving bowl fits my hand nicely. The quality of the stand seems fine and it fits my razor well. But I started noticing black flecks coming off of the bottom, revealing the metal underneath. I really didn't think too much about until today, when I was finishing the last of a soap puck, I noticed the paint starting to come off of the insides of the bowl. Since I was cleaning it out anyway, I took a paper towel to clean it and more black coating (paint?) came off. So I used a little plastic scraper and all of the inside coating came off. Now I have a nice steel bowl instead. I just hope it's stainless steel. I also scraped the bottom and it now also bare steel.
