I am very happy with these hangers! The quality is very good and the hangers are substantial and strong. I like the soft rubbery coating which holds your garments in place. Is it weird to get excited about hangers? After years of dealing with a variety of plastic, velvet and metal hangers from the department store, I was ready to find ONE style to hang my clothes on. I knew I wanted something sturdy, but also smooth so I can easily slide on sweatshirts and sweaters. This has been the answer. Even my husband liked them and asked me to order more for his clothes. Thes are ultra sturdy and hold my heavier jackets and sweaters with ease. They are thicker than the thin velvet ones (which also eventually break) and even though they're more expensive, I feel like you're getting something that will last for a while. So far, I'm loving them!

Sturdy, holds heavier garments no problem. Non-slip yet can take a garment off it easily. I bought more recently after we moved. Many of my “felt” hangers are breaking, so these will replace them.

These seem like they will work. My plus-sized shirts are holding in place, although I am nervous about how narrow these are as they make their downward curve. They seem sturdy, like coated metal, and as though they will endure a fall to the floor without breaking. I'll update my rating later after some use.

I will definitely re-order these hangars. I had kept many sweaters lying flat in our walk-in closet until I could find something like these. I had seen satin-covered, also had taken no-more-useful-hangars at our grocery store that sold good clothing. Nothing I have used in the past matches these wonderful hangars. Now, no more bumps in my good sweaters that forced me washing the garment again before wearing.

These hangers are the best I have ever had. They easily keep a wide shoulder top stay on the hanger. I ordered a second box.

I ordered two sets to try these out. I hang all of my tops except sweaters and hang dry quite a few shirts to save them from the dryer. I hate the hanger "bumps" that occur, especially on the top of the shirt sleeve of my button down shirts. I don't mind folding sweaters so I can't speak for these hangers holding heavy items but them are metal and seem sturdy enough. I have tried the velvet covered hangers and find them annoyingly "sticky" and still too wide. The coating on these hangers is nonslip but not too much, so you can place the seam right where you want it and it stays there, which is part of the trick for a nice looking shirt. The curve on this allows the top shoulder seam to hang over without shaping it. I am a medium shirt-sized woman and I gently pushed in the bottom of the curve inward and the sleeve hangs even better. I just ordered another set and after I first try to get rid of some clothes will probably get more in the future.
