Nice, but difficult to wire up.
Came in damaged box, but was packed well so nothing inside was damaged. Not too hard to assemble...though it is possible to assemble the boards incorrectly. Seller helped correct my mistake and was missing a nut, but seller replaced. if you know basic wiring and have some extra parts around the wiring isn't difficult, but the kit (it's definitely a kit) could benefit from a different way of connecting each light up, maybe simply larger wire nuts...only 3 small ones provided and 2 sets of 9 wires to connect. 9 wires is too many for what was provided.

Great fixture, don't get overwhelmed...
The instructions are generally okay, but they don't really say anything about the actual wiring of the lamps. So you need to have competent knowledge of how the electrical bits go. It is complicated at first but it isn't really that bad once you get to wiring. I used some Wago connectors instead of the wiring nuts that it came with and I think I got a cleaner looking install. I ended up connecting the 4 lamps on each side together, 4 smooth wires to one connector 4 ridged wires to the other. Then a 5th wire runs to the two 3-wire Wagos on the left side in the photo. That joins both sides and then the 3rd wire there goes to the wire box in the ceiling. Just remember that the ridged wires are Neutral and connect to white and the smooth wires are hot and connect to black in the wall. Not an electrician, not official advice, just relaying what I learned through experience with standard wiring. Also they don't include enough wiring holders to keep everything neat and tidy. I used all the white ones they sent and a few other wiring staples that I had.It is a cool fixture, it is exactly what we were looking for for our sort of pirate ship/adventure looking dining room. It really was the piece that brought everything together.

Disappointed
The light is beautiful on Amazon but for 200.00 very cheaply made. We aren't even using it. Going to give away

What i was looking for :)
I have seen similar big ones in Peets and other coffee places where they have the rustic/farmhouse style theme. I always wanted something similar in my dining room. Was initially planning to make some farm style chandelier and saw this one and bought it.Assembly wasn't easy and not much clear instruction. But one of the customer review they explained clearly how to do and followed exactly the same. That was very helpful. it took me more than 2 hours to assemble. But the end result was cool.

Everyone who's seen it wants it.
Spectacular. but the instructions are only good for telling how the wood pieces fit together, the rest of them are useless. Take your time, layout all the pieces and see how they fit together, leave enough slack in the wiring so the lights can hang. The length of wire they supply for the connection from the lights to the ceiling is only long enough for one run. I suggest breaking it down into two assemblies (worked well for me),connect the wiring in the outlet box and mount the metal box to the ceiling, now put the fixture together, then hang the fixture to the metal box and connect the wiring, that way the box holds up the fixture for you while you are connecting the wiring.

Beautiful lamp, terrible instructions
As others have said, calling the instructions terrible would be a huge understatement. The lamp arrived in a damaged box, however the individual light holders were all secured in styrofoam.Pros:Looks very niceNot a bad priceCons:Damaged delivery boxOne page of very vague black and white instructions in counter clockwise order. No list of parts includedThere were a random number of some of the parts making installation even more fun.Definitely need two people to assemble mainly because the wood pieces won't stay together. If you're one of the people who like the "impossible puzzles" you see advertised, this one is a little more pricey but at least all the parts aren't the same color so it should be a little easier.
