As it is steel it is very health efficient and actually very or most safest wayEvening is very good but only the thing wat I feel is it's not that thick it's thin layer and it makes a popping sound or I can say it slightly goes in and come up like a see saw while chopping. So it must had to be thick and heavy.According to pricing it is very thin steel am not happy for pricing

Good for the price. Mine is in good condition. Easy to clean. No rough surface like plastic chopping board. I have been using it for single person use, that is only myself. I am vegetarian. So haven't used it to chop meat.Tip based on 2 years of use:1. Don't dry it under direct sunlight.2. Don't drop it from height.I dropped the board accidentally from the height of 4 feet once or twice. Because of that, now there is crack line. This board is made up by gluing thin strips of bamboo together. So, they will go apart eventually with time. Dropping or drying under hot sun shorten the life of the board.I ordered it from Amazon 2 years ago at Rs499.
