Unisex Adult Targhee III Fisherman Sandals

I bought these shoes to go hiking and fishing in the rivers. I read so many reviews which the majority said these shoes where great and last a long time. Others of course talked about how the sizing was off and they did not last but like two months. Now that I have had mine for a little over two months, I thought I would provide my comments. I ordered mine based on the size chart provided and they fit perfectly. I hiked over 20 miles, collectively, in the mountains and through creeks. The traction was incredible and the feel was even better. Not only the best pair of shoes for the task but also the most comfortable. I have sense put these shoes through many other daunting tasks just to see how they would hold up. To date, they are still the best pair of shoes for all around outdoor activity that I have ever owned. When the day comes and they do wear out, with no hesitation, I will buy another pair of Keen. I wore these with socks and without. Excellent both ways. My personal experience, these shoes are worth the money and deliver on the quality. Great job!!!

I’ve worn the water shoe versions for 20 years and liked them. These are similar with better traction and they are so comfortable, even more so than my Adidas shoes. Very happy with the purchase

Very comfortable fit, but a different feel from my previous Keens. These feel softer with the neoprene and leather uppers and the sole is more flexible and softer than my other Keens sandals. It takes a little getting used to and I feel like the sandals are loose sometimes, but it is the fit. I would buy another pair when the time comes.

I was looking for some good hiking sandals for an upcoming trip, and these fit MOST of the criteria I was looking to fill. First, the cons: They don’t have the most comfortable insoles. They’re more rigid and less cushiony than I was expecting, and they also having ridges, but I suppose those are the trade-offs for their being odor resistant. That being said, the insoles aren’t UNcomfortable, they’re just not exceptionally comfortable. Another comfort drawback is the pull tab on the heel. For some reason, only the left one rubs me the wrong way, and badly enough that it gave me a blister on the back of my ankle just above the collar of the sandal the first day I wore them. Hopefully it’ll soften up over time, or I’ll have to cut it off. The biggest drawback, and ultimately the reason I knocked off a star, is the lack of breathability. You’d think that being sandals, they’d be pretty airy, but they’re actually rather suffocating, and that is 100% due to the neoprene lining. If the lining was some type breathable mesh instead of neoprene, I would’ve just checked 5 stars and called it a day, but as it stands, these sandals give me sweaty feet, which is an issue I’ve never had with any other pair of sandals or even shoes. And in the plus column: Even though the neoprene isn’t breathable, it does make for a snug fit, which is obviously a benefit to hiking on uneven terrain. Another element that aids in the snug fit is the lacing system. I read another reviewer complain that they had trouble getting the tongue to align properly when lacing up, but that was not my experience. The soles are also good for hiking. Substantially thick yet flexible, with good tread and traction. I haven’t worn them in any wet conditions as yet, so I can’t confirm their claim of waterproofing, but the soles seem like they’ll fare well on slippery stones. Other positives are the fit (I wear a 13 and these ran true to size), the color is true to the pictures, and while only time will tell, the construction feels solid and they should stand up to some substantial use before starting to degrade. Conclusion: If you’re looking for snug fitting, close toed sandals that are good for hiking, these could be a good choice, but if breathability is a top priority for you, then you should keep looking, because you won’t find it here.

These are ugly but functional! I used waterproof socks but these were comfy and grippy in the water. Not bad! True to size

Buyer beware with this vendor. This merchant has little concern for delivering the product illustrated and described. Color is Black & GREEN; not black and GREY as illustrated and described. They Only show 2 color combinations black & grey and black & grey. Yet the sandals are definitely black and GREEN. Solid construction, good fit as indicated.

IMO, best sandals on the market and I’ve had several. I wear them literally everyday. This is my 3rd pair in 5 years. Great for hiking, they dry out quickly if I get in the water, fantastic traction on all surfaces which makes them ideal for hiking and everyday use. I keep the old pair for mowing and working around the house. Hope Keen doesn’t discontinue this design!!

These sandals are really comfortable. The arch support is fantastic, and you can walk or hike in them for miles either with or without socks (I’d recommend a hiking or biking sock for something over 3-4 miles, however). I often choose them over a pair of regular shoes for something really casual or just on the weekend.

Ho necessità di un sandalo chiuso, con cui poter guidare e andare un po' ovunque. Mi sono indirizzato sui KEEN in quanto robusti e di marca, con un disegno molto largo in punta, oltre che per le ottime recensioni da parte di moltissimi utenti. Ho preso un numero in meno rispetto al normale, e ho fatto bene: indossandoli sempre senza calzini (orrore!!!) il 41 si adatta perfettamente alla mia pianta extralarge, e in punta ho un sacco di spazio per le mie dita. Sono comodi indosso, e proteggono bene la punta del piede, per quanto la suola non sia molto robusta (ho letto alcune recensioni che li dichiarano adatti al trekking: ecco NO, mi sento di sconsigliarne assolutamente tale uso, anche per trekking molto leggero meglio scarpe chiuse). PRO: calzano come un guanto, sono decisamente comodi e belli; per essere un sandalo oserei quasi il termine eleganti con la pelle naturale (non esageriamo, non li indosserò mai con giacca e cravatta...) CONTRO: non sono così freschi come alcuni dichiarano, il calore del plantare sintetico (per quanto dichiarato senza odore, ma sono pronto a scommettere che non durerà a lungo) e dalla tomaia in neoprene si sente eccome Quindi, complessivamente un bel prodotto che mi sta regalando ottima calzabilità, ma sicuramente alcuni aspetti da migliorare. Devo ancora capire come resisterà la parte in neoprene alla prova del tempo, già da subito è molto elastica e tipicamente questo materiale perde compattezza e si sfibra con l'uso intenso!

A great pair of sandals. I wear them for everyday use. Highly recommended.
