Perfect for converting to 3/4" poles
I used this adapter to convert the BAYTORY Extendable Tree Pruner Saw, Pruning Shears for use with my telescoping pole which has a 3/4" threaded cap. It fits perfectly in the end of the pruning shears. You will have to drill a hole in the adapter and insert a screw so it attaches securely to the shears. Once that is done, you will have a very stable and reliable connection between the shears and the pole. This will convert any 1" rod type device to a 3/4" screw type. A great find and very inexpensive. Works great too.

You'll never know when you need it
When recent rain storms flooded my basement I needed to squeegee the water out. Fortunately I had one of these which kept the squeege on the mop handle so that I could keep up with the water inflow. If you ever had a threaded mop or brush head and wanted to use a non-threaded device you absolutely need one of these. Buy now and avoid headaches in the future. It is inexpensive.

Works well but requires a modification
My Mr. LongArm paint telescoping paint pole has the standard ¾ inch in diameter, 5 threads per inch, Acme form attachment threads. Many tools with handles use this thread, paint rollers will take it, floor mop handles with changeable mop heads, floor brooms, and every paint pole I have ever seen. It is simple, holds well, and is dependable. For some reason known best to themselves the sellers of window cleaning tools like scrubbers and squeegees do not want you to be able to use your already owned extension poles so they manufacture handles for their products that will not accept the standard Acme form thread opting for a cone shaped device sometimes with a locking button that protrudes through a hole and sometimes just a friction fit. This adapter available for Mr. LongArm extension poles gets around this annoying design by a simple, heavy plastic adapter that has the female Acme thread on one end and the tapered cone on the other. At $6.98 it relatively inexpensive and fits well. The problem I found was that although the adapter screws tightly onto the end of my adjustable pole and fits well into the tapered handle of a scrubber/squeegee, it does not stay there. The tapered end slips out and rotates easily making using the tool not practical. Solve this problem by inserting the adapter into the handle of the window washing tool and while holding it there tightly, drill a small hole through both the window washing tool and the adapter. The location is not critical. I drilled my hole about one inch from the bottom of the handle and adapter since the plastic there is the thickest. Do be careful not to drill too close to the bottom end or else you will block access by the male threads that need to fit in. I then screwed in a stainless steel screw and now have a perfectly functioning window washing tool that fits my Mr. LongArm extension pole. If you wish to use the adapter with another tool you can remove the set screw and attach it to another cone handle but for $6.98 I plan to just leave it attached to the scrubber/squeegee. The whole assembly comes off as one piece when you wish to use the pole for something else that will accept the standard thread. I saw several reviews that mention cutting off a portion of the window tool and that there are threads further up in the handle. Cutting off the handle is supposed to allow the handle to attach to the Acme threads. I did not find any such threads in my Libman 12 inch scrubber/squeegee.

Great device. This allows me to attach a tree pruner to an existing pole. Thanks.

Cone Adapter for Mr. Long Arm or any paint pole
This is a sturdy adapter that has a 3/4-5 RH ACME female thread at one end and a cone at the other. This thread is the same as found on paint poles (the Mr. Long Arm pole though as a tapered thread that locks the adapter before all the threads are engaged). The cone fits most glass cleaners and squeegees. It will fit nicely in Ettore accessories designed for their "Click Lock" poles. There is enough plastic in this that it can be turned to a smaller diameter to press fit into McGill bulb changers. If you can find aluminum tubing of about 0.85" O.D. the cone can be turned to fit in that tube to make a converter for Unger accessories. The cone end has enough plastic that it can be tapped for a screw to hold other items of your choice.

Works well
I was able to use the pole I already have and made getting a new pole pruner so much more affordable.

Not as expected.
Bought this for larger spoils of thread. It fits inside the spool just perfect but the hole is still too big for the spool holder on my machine

ADJUST, ADAPT AND OVERCOME
These adapters are necessary if you do frequent window washing or painting because most quality scrubbers, rollers and squeegees today are not threaded for poles. The female threads are the general-purpose 3/4-5RH and work the Mr. Longarm, Wagner, Ettore and the plain threaded 4-foot broom-stick poles from ACE that cost $5.00.Lightly tap the Mr. Longarm adapter into the implement with a wooden hammer or a small piece of wood like 2” x 2” pine until it is secure.I would not recommend using a steel hammer.Changing implements on a pole is time consuming and a pain when it’s 90-degrees in the shade and all the windows are in the sun.If you have an old swimming pool telescoping pole that is not being used, get a wooden threaded broom-stick pole, with metal threads, from the hardware store and insert it in the open end of the telescoping pole. I use duct tape to hold it in place. This makes changing easy in case of a system failure while launching a scrubber up to a window 18 feet off the ground.Telescoping swimming pool poles are much lighter than the professional poles and that makes a huge difference when you have a lot of dirty glass. It seems like I recall a mantra from years ago, Improvise, Adapt and Overcome. This code also works when painting or washing windows.

it fits with my non-threaded squeegee handle and screws on to my extension pole and doesn't wobble!
I agree with posters who are not amused that window cleaning squeegees have no threaded handle for extension poles! Why not? I have a quality extension pole not related to window cleaning products and didn't want to buy a related pole because they are all flimsy! It actually threads and fits snuggly about 3 inches down the squeegee handle.

Excellent tool for washing high windows!
This tool screws on to extendable pole and allows washing heads and squeegee tools to be used for window washing. Simple but essential for multiuse window washing attachments.
