I'm buying one for my mom, too._______________________2018: A friend of mine lent me their similar Teavana steeper. I fell in love with it, but couldn't for the life of me find one anywhere. Finally I found this one and it's exactly what I'm looking for. It's large enough for an oversized mug, but not a soup mug. The outside edges of the top and bottom have a thin rubber lining. This doesn't protect your hands from the heat of the lid. Keep that in mind. The rubber does help more on the base. I can pick up the whole unit from my mug without singeing my fingers. Seems to be good quality with good ventilation and the tea disperses well. I've used it with loose tea and stringless bagged teas. One star off for the heat of the lid, but I would buy again.

This works very well and I really like this style with the full rim around the infuser. The silicone ring prevents it from being uncomfortably warm and the cap converts nicely into a dish for the infuser to rest in.

Lifelong Tea Peeps. Bought this & washed gently before using, and the webbing came apart?!?!Never had that happen with similar style infuser/strainers. And it’s NOT RETURN or EXCHANGEABLE 😡 I cant even copy & paste a picture into this review?!?!

This is a marvelous item. I need to use it in a slightly shorter cup, but I am happy with the cup of tea I get with the device. I use it every week day. I plan on getting one as a gift for my niece.A wee bit of tea ground may escape from time to time but that is not a major issue for me.The best part is that I can't break it.

This is an excellent infuser. I would say the best around. The only one comparable is the one made by teatribe and thankfully I own them both.I recommend this one over the other one only because it's like 30% cheaper but it has even better features. I love the look and design of this and use it daily along with my other teatribe one.Highly recommend, 10/10!

The silicon rings around the outer edges of the cap and the rim of the base come off frequently, but the product works very well for it's intended purpose. It would be nice if the lid would fasten into place. We use rubber bands around the unit to brew coffee and tea when camping at high altitude inside our camp coffee pot. (We realize that isn't the intended use, but it works very well for it anyway.) 😉
