Should have bought this sooner.Love it and it’s small enough to take it with you to concerts, in car or anywhere you need to sit for long periods of time.Worth the money.It relieves pain in the back.Worth every penny.

I use this at work and in my cars. It is great to keep me from slouching and having pain

*June 17, 2026Had made the decision in purchasing this OPTP McKenzie SuperRoll Lumbar Pillow, considering this was something my mother was in need of getting, in order to support her lower back whenever it comes to driving. So far, my mother has not been having much issues when it comes to using the product; so, I believe it is safe to say, that the lumbar pillow, is doing it's job at cushioning/supporting her lower back. The way on how to setup the pillow onto the driver's seat of the car, is fairly simple enough to do, all you have to do, is buckle up the buckles included on this against the front of the seat and you will be supported enough. I would suggest to purchase this product if you happen to be someone who happens to have lower back pain and need something to support the symptoms of it.

Although it functions adequately as a lumbar roll, it doesn't fit well at all into the bucket seat of my car. I can't secure it to the back of the car, since the strap is too small and tight and it gradually slides up the back of the seat. I have relatively decent posture and have a good sense of where the support should be, so I'm comfortable with positioning it myself every drive. However, it's just too thick to really follow the curve of the bucket seat, and I find that it pushes me forward into an awkward position. I'm going to look for a car-specific lumbar roll since I have a fairly long commute and save this one for airplane travel.

Hands down the best lumbar support I have ever tried. I had the original McKenzie roll. It was recommended by my doctor and physical therapist I went to after back surgery.The original roll was actually a roll and round. I would always have to squeeze it and put it in place while I was leaning back into it. This is a semi-circle and much easier to get into place. It is a lot more firm than the original, which works great for my back. The strap seems a lot better. I have only had it a couple months, but the strap on the original roll I have in my car stretched out in a matter of weeks.I use this in the office. I have a "lumbar support" chair from our ergonomic team. The chair is 10 times better than the normal chair, but I still was looking for more. The contour to my chair makes the Velcro not make good contact and thus fall off at least once a day. The strap solves that problem.I had an L5-S1 lumbar surgery over ten years ago, so I think I am very critical of these kinds of products.

It makes a real difference for my lower back. I can sit comfortably in my chair or in the car and the lumbar is supported.

Works well, is comfortable, and is keeping me free of back pain.

Does what it promisesSolid, firm lumbar roll that actually maintains your lower back curve instead of collapsing after a week like cheaper cushions. Takes a few days to get used to if you're new to lumbar support — feels like a lot of pressure at first, then becomes essential.Strap works fine on standard office chairs but is fiddly on chairs with odd backrests. Cover runs a bit warm for long sits.Great if you already know you need targeted lumbar support (desk job, back issues, long drives). If you're just curious whether lumbar support helps at all, might start with something cheaper first.Worth it for consistent daily use — my lower back fatigue by end of day is noticeably better.
