This is an excellent skillet because the non-stick surface works great. It is very easy to clean. Use plastic or wood to cook with and wash with a sponge only and it will last years.

Heavy duty. Even heating, and the base is perfectly flat so it is great for glass top stoves. Food doesn’t stick for easy clean up.

I love, love, love cooking eggs in this little pan. I got it for cooking one egg and love it. This is the best little egg pan and I've ever had (and I've been cooking since the last century.....). Been using it since 2017 so I can validate that it's held up well. I also realized I never left a review so taking care of that right now. I recommend this product 100% and am so happy they're still available. Checking back in in 2025. This little fry pan is now 8 years old. Others have commented that theirs are no longer non-stick after some time but this one is still amazing. No butter needed and the egg just slides out of the pan. I finally needed to replace our larger, deeper fry pan so I ordered the 11 inch. I'll review that one once I have used it for a bit. Fingers crossed it's as good as it's little cousin. Lastly, as others have noted, yes, this pan is very easy to clean. No elbow grease needed, just a soapy sponge.

We've only had this pan for three weeks, and considering we replaced a second-hand, 10 year old cuisinart nonstick pan of the same size with this, it has been like night and day. This pan is GREAT. Great for non-stick uses, eggs and melted cheese -- no problem. Wipes right off. We use less butter and oil now because we don't have to worry about having to scrape things off after we cook. It's great. The bottom has already had a spot come off, but we use this thing daily on a gas stove, so it's going to get banged up and well-used. Three weeks in, we are SO HAPPY we picked this pan. It's sturdy and extremely non-stick. Will update if this changes and when if any problems occur.

So far I’m loving the pan. The lid is the problem. It warped the first time I used it. The handle gets very hot so be careful!!

I have quite a few pots and pans from the ROCK by starfrit, and I love them all. Simple, no nonsense, good nonstick quality (makes both cooking and cleaning easy), and much more durable than your typical teflon coated nonstick pan. I loved them so much I asked my boss to purchase 3 for use at my store (I run a recipe- demoing program at a large eastern coast family owned supermarket chain). They were only $20 each (with the lid!) when similar options available to me were at least 2-3x that price. So far I'm loving them, and my sellers like them too. Before, when I used regular nonstick pans, my sellers absolutely destroyed them. Thousands of deep scratches covered these pans from being abused daily. As you know, when you scratch up teflon or similar material, it's no longer nonstick and more importantly, no longer safe to cook in. They all went into the garbage, and I tossed them in happily. Now, I do not allow metal to be used in these new pans, but even if I'm not there and it does happen (eg. using kitchen shears to cut things still in the pan, metal spatulas, etc) I'm confident these pans will hold up much better than the old ones. If your family tends to beat up nonstick pans, definitely try this line of products. P.S. the only reason I have durability as a 4 star is because this still isn't a stainless steel pan, which while they're a pain to cook in, technically last forever. Also, one of the glass lids was dropped on a tiled floor during washing (about 3ft off the ground) and shattered into thousands of pieces. Now, this is a good thing, because even though it was a pain to clean up, the small pieces weren't severely sharp. Everyone now knows to be very careful when washing the lids.

When I had to replace out old pans which no longer had any teflon or anti stick properties, I picked these because we had previously bought 2 different sized sauce pans and wanted to stay with the same brand for appearance sake. The price was comparable to the more name brand options and the pans are great. No more scraping crusted eggs or spices off when cleaning, the pans need a rinse and a pass over with the dish wand and they are clean.

Purchased pan in May and used twice for a particular recipe where this pan is the perfect size. Still have one I purchased previously and no issues which is why I brought this one. I am currenty in the return process with Starfrit directly and hope they will resolve. As you will see from the pics, pan has completely warped, lid no longer fits so no longer safe to use. Although properly cleaned with non abrasive sponge and mild soap and water, portion of non stick surface adheres to food. You will note from bottom no scorch mark or otherwise froem overheating, using LG Electic Stovetop and high end burners with no issues. Again my other ROCK pan still fine, but this only after 2 uses no longer safe to use.
