Ventura Zinc Coated Bicycle Trailer Hitch

Installed on electric fat bike to pull Aosom cargo trailer. While this is designed to install at the seat post, I mounted it on the rear of the cargo rack. I had to install a piece of small aluminum channel on the bottom of the cargo rack to keep hitch from pivoting down on mounting bolt. Also installed clevis pin for retainer, had to enlarge holes slightly.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought his hitch to use with a 1950s bicycle cart that was made by the Swedish military. I use the cart for dozens of purposes, including parades and general errands and grocery gettin. The cart is rated for 450+ lbs; I believe that I've pulled over 250 lbs on a few occasions. For more than three years I've used this ball hitch without any problems.

This hitch worked very well where I needed it!I didn't use it exactly as intended but then when making things from your own designs, most pre-made pieces don't fit without some adjustment. I got the seat post mount and installed it on my rack. I use this bike for shopping and constantly have different gear switching on and off the rack I was able to bolt the seat post stabilizing bracket directly to my rack and connect the ball hitch with a square hitch pin after filing the bolt holes square to match the pin. this makes the ball portion of the hitch quickly removable and eliminated the swivel of the second joint.The ball gives the swivel in all directions needed for turning, climbing and leaning that can occur between a two wheel trailer and a bicycle.I hope my trailer design is as good as their hitch!

I was looking for a way to Hitch my bike up to my trailer. This system allows the trailer to stay stationary while the bike moves back and forth as you pedal. As you can see in the picture I used it for my surfboard cart. The surfboard cart is made out of aluminum. It is not designed to move back and forth as you're peddling I needed a way to allow the bike to move back and forth when I pedaled and this was the perfect solution. Hope this will help someone.

I’m not using this on a bike, I am a major amputee that does a lot of yard work. With a few nips & tucks I adapted hitch to mount on back of electric mobility scooter to pull my heavy duty wagon around. Hitch has hauled as much as much as perhaps 300 pounds of bagged soil & tools without noticeable threat of unexpected detachment. Procurement was delayed due to Covid lockdown (item seemingly was only available EU) and I am happy it finally became available. I like it.

Very pleased with the quality and strength of this little hitch. It is perfect for my ebike cart.

This is getting 5 starts despite arriving with missing pieces (Im blaming Amazon for that - broken packaging). Good solid design. Easy to adapt. It performed well on its maiden voyage, however I was extremely careful to be as gentle as possible. Im thinking of adding a regular spring assembly somehow as the ball/socket design seems limited for shock absorbing.

Much sturdier than it looks on the photo. The top part with the plastic block is spring-loaded. All parts are made of thick zinc-coated metal, I don't expect any problem even with heavy loads. What's really missing is an installation photo so I included a photo of the back of the packaging. Total weight of all parts is 325 grams.
