I can’t imagine a better belly butter. It rubs in nicely and sinks in almost immediately — even when you put a heavy amount on, it sinks into the skin within a few minutes. It has a subtle, pleasant citrus smell — trust me, all sorts of smells have been overwhelming and nauseating, but this is nice and natural smelling. And it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Since becoming pregnant, I’ve been sensitive to everything and some skin products that used to work now give me contact dermatitis, but this is soothing and my skin hasn’t reacted badly whatsoever — I’m even using it as a face moisturizer now. Also didn’t realize when I purchased that this is made by a smaller, Oregon-based company. Love it and highly recommend!

I decided to give this a try after finishing a tub of the burt's bees mama bee belly butter. I'M SO HAPPY I DID! In my opinion, this blows BB out of the water. I love how moisturized it's keeping my 8mo preggo belly, it absorbs into my skin beautifully, and I love the smell. The smell reminds me of orange blossom, orange creamsicle, fruit loops, etc. This is my nighttime belly moisturizer and I've been lathering up with 2 pumps for extra moisturizing. I will definitely get another bottle when this one is finished. Full disclosure- I have been doing my own coconut oil/vitamin/oils blend in the am, bio oil in the afternoons, and then this wonderful lotion at night. The lotion lasts all night and my belly hasn't been itchy while using it. My skin is still smooth and moisturized the next am, unlike with the BB where my skin would feel dry and itchy/burning in the am.

Love love this belly butter! Please, don't change the formula. It is perfect! This belly butter y'all!!! Since my first baby, my mom-in-law gave me a gift of some of Earth Mama products, I loved it. Now that i am pregnant with my second. I knew that i should search on earth mama and look into what else they offer and glad to find that they have a belly butter which will help on my growing belly. This butter makes my skin so moisturized and feels so smooth and soft. It glides like a dream and the scent is aahhh-MAZING! Helps with my nausea too. haha! I like that mandarin citrusy but not overwhelming scent.I even like it as my everyday lotion now and apply it all over my body.I have no complains at all and very happy and satisfied with this product for sure this will be a holy grail as long as it stays the same. Thank you earth mama! And thanks to amazon prime it got here just in time!

UPDATE: Nov.27,2019My baby is now 16 months old and this has OFFICIALLY been my absolute FAVORITE lotion since I started using it before she was born. It is my go to. In combination with Palmers stretch mark oil, I never got one, single, stretch mark. I REPEAT - NO STRETCH MARKS after applying this and the oil daily. Now, I'm buying this lotion because it's the best daily moisturizer in the summer and winter, it smells amazing, and it's safe around my baby. I wish I could buy a gallon to save some $$$ and stock up for the year!ORIGINAL POST: Jan. 2018:Just received and was initially concerned because the packaging is different from what is pictured on Amazon. I visited the manufacturers website and am happy to confirm their website makes note of a slight name change AND packaging - so we're good!The scent is pleasant - like a light orange creamsicle kind. A tiny bit greasy at first but my skin quickly slurped it all in.I did buy a body oil to put on at night and will be using this lotion in the mornings. Genetically, I am prone to stretch marks. We'll see what happens! I am 16 weeks and just starting a routine, so I'll update after my first little one is born ^_^

I used this Body Butter and the Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Stretch Oil from the second month of pregnancy until birth. I used the body butter after showering in the morning and the oil half an hour before going to bed (I would rub it on my belly and breasts and just let it soak in without a shirt on). I have to say I loved the fresh citrus smell of the body butter and how fluidly it went on the skin. I had previously bought cocoa butter and that just made me so nauseous, so that's when I decided to try the Earth Mama products.Did these products help prevent stretchmarks? Sadly, no. I was so in love with using these products I thought they would do the trick, but no. On month 8 of my pregnancy I started noticing stretchmarks on the lower left side of my belly, so I decided to increase the body butter usage to twice a day, and the oil at nighttime, but still the stretchmarks appeared!In part, I blame it on genetics, when I went through puberty I developed stretchmarks on my thighs and butt, mom has ém too... As far as weight gain, I gained 35lbs at the end of my pregnancy, I recommend using the products anyways... who knows how many more stretchmarks I would've had if I hadn't used this.Another comment is all my pijama shirts got stained/smelly from the oil, also my bed sheets, took a few washes to get the smell out, hope my comment helps!!
