Body By Jake Tower 200 Universal Resistance Bands Hand Grips Handles

Way better than replacing the whole thing I still like this set up after years of owning it.

Body by Jake, is a cost effective way to place a pulley resistance system in your home. I used a belted cum-a-long to fasten to a closed door so as not to change the door's function or appearance. When it was time to upgrade the pulley strength, I replaced the original bands of 25 and 35 with 2 40 lbs pulls. I used the original 25 and 35 lbs pulls on the other side providing an upgrade to that side as well of 35, 35. 40 lbs. The system works great. The pulleys are a little squeaky at first which was cured with a can of lithium lubrication. Very happy with the original purchase, and the upgrade.

I would have given it five stars, but one of the 40 pound ones already feels loose.

Great products

I bought the BBJ Straight Bar but I still like boys (pause for applause). I'm kidding of course, I ordered it separately because it wasn't mentioned it was included in the Tower 200 so I have two Straight Bars which is actually convenient since I can use the extra with some 100lb bands I bought from Dicks Sporting Goods, which are almost double the price than Amazon.com but the bars are sturdy and stable. It's great for heavy back squats, front squats, deads, and presses with thick bands, they could be about 4"-6" longer but hey, who couldn't use the extra longitude, haha.

Purchased these 40 lb replacement bands on May 3 2024, delivered on May 9, return window closed June 3, today on June 17 one of the bands broke with the cord pulling out of the red and black attachment hook. I was doing a simple lat pull down with a straight bar and on the third rep, "ping" the straight bar came down with one end broken away and the other still attached. I understand that after years of use the bands may need replacing but to have the band pull out of the attachment hook during exercising is absolutely dangerous not to mention non durable. $30 down the drain unless the manufacturer wants to replace this especially owning it only 38 days!

I bought this to replace the cables on my Golds Gym Over the Door Gym system. Great fit and the resistance feels good when I exercise.

I wore out the cables on my Altus Door Gym, which was a very similar product to the Body By Jake door gym. These cables fit perfectly and provide much more resistance than what originally came with my Altus brand. I couldn't be happier with these!
