A Cut Above the Competition I previously used a similarly priced SKAR kit, but the RECOIL RCK44 is in a different league. The materials, construction, and attention to detail are all noticeably better. The OFC RCA cable, in particular, is a nice touch, providing crystal-clear signal transmission. High-Quality Fuse Holder One standout feature of this kit is the fuse holder. It's robust, well-designed, and easy to use. The fuse holder is often an afterthought in cheaper kits, but RECOIL has clearly prioritized quality and safety. One Drawback: CCA Power and Ground Cables My only gripe with this kit is that the power and ground cables are made of CCA (Copper-Clad Aluminum) instead of OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper). While CCA is still a good conductor, OFC would provide even better performance. However, considering the price point, it's hard to complain. I don’t know if you want to trust me, because this install was my very first sound system ever, but I have zero complaints whatsoever. Had everything I needed, and (at least from a beginner/diy perspective,) it seems to have great quality. Materials seem great, and I’ve had no issues in 6 months with materials or sound quality. This worked pretty well for my install of a 4 channel speaker amplifier. Quality is good and thought it was fairy priced as well. This was my first time installing an amplifier, and my first time using a kit like this. This will have almost everything you need. Though it's billed as a a 4 channel amplifier kit, I found it strange that it only includes 5 spade crimp connectors. Didn't understand this because if I'm installing a 4-channel amp, each channel has a positive and negative side that's going to need a crimp connector connecting into the amplifier. So you're only giving me enough to do only either the positive or negative side for the speaker leads, then the 1 leftover can be used for the remote? For the minimal cost, throw in the extra crimp connectors needed! One other noteworthy point is to be aware you'll need a large crimp tool for the power/ground wires. Astandard hardware store wire crimper won't accommodate the 4 gauge size. If you don't want to buy a new crimper solely for this, a little trick you can do is to use a thick cold chisel and small sledge hammer. Strip the wire using a razor blade and place the connector over the exposed wiring. Give it a few whacks with the chisel facing up & down in the middle of the metal connector for a tight connection.

The wiring worked great. Wasn't oxygen free but was more than sufficient for my needs. All the cables were flexible and are working well for my install.
