Artisan Fast Drying Medium, 75ml (2.5-oz) bottle

Used it to paint three pictures for my sister, still slow drying oils. It probably helped it go faster. It was very cold here at the time and I believe it helped.

Great solution! Quick drying

I'm highly sensitive to odors, and fumes so this product was not for me. But it does work as it claims.

I have used it for oil pastel painting. Leaves strong glossy finish and doesn’t really smell.

Turn the container over on a flat surface. Use a table or a counter. Press the palm of your 'good' hand down on the base of the inverted container. Apply light pressure to the base. Rotate the container while keeping the lid motionless through friction. If you can, hold the lid with your other hand so it doesn’t move. Stop rotating once the lid clicks or releases. Then, hold both the lid and container in your 'good' hand, and turn both of them over. You should now be able to lift the lid off and open the pill container.

I ordered this Artisan Water Mixable Fast Drying Medium through Amazon.com. Amazon.com was listed as the seller and the condition of the product was listed as "New." When I used it, I found that neither water, soap or mineral spirits would clean my brushes, and everything that this product had touched was a sticky mess. Turpentine removed most, but not all of it, but still didn't get all of the sticky gook out of my brushes. Thankfully I had some professional brush cleaner that did the trick, but even with that, I had to repeat the cleaning 5-6 or more times. I had mixed it with paint to make a few subtle changes in a painting that I had done several years ago - a painting that had won 1st Place in one art show, and a "Best in Show" in another. Everywhere I had used this product on the painting glistened like glass, and it looked horrible. It was just as sticky on the painting as it was on everything else, and even after a month the stickiness remained. I am absolutely sick that this has ruined my painting. I spoke with a representative from Winsor Newton who looked up the Lot number and told me that when I bought this it was SEVEN YEARS OLD!! It WASN'T "New" as Amazon.com had promoted it to be. She also said that water-based mediums don't have an extremely long shelf life, and they will "cure" making them basically unusable. I have read a lot of the reviews about this product and saw that many customers have the same complaint that I do, and I just wonder if the seller of their product was Amazon.com. When I went back to my orders, the "Contact Seller" was no longer an option. Winsor Newton makes good and useful products and they work beautifully - IF THEY HAVEN'T BEEN SITTING ON AN AMAZON WAREHOUSE SHELF FOR 7 (seven) YEARS! And if Amazon.com is going to sell a PERISHABLE ITEM that is SEVEN YEARS OLD, they should describe the item as "Old but unopened." I wish I had gotten this Winsor Newton product from a reputable art supply store, and I will make sure to in the future

Great for speeding up the drying process of water-soluble oils

I purchased this prouduct to help my water based oils dry faster. To my amazement it works really well, and not much is required , l just dip my paint brush into it, after l have my colour and water mixture. I have bought this product again. It works well. I am happy with it!

Perfect to use with Water Mixable Oils.

For some reason I thought that I ordered the larger size, given the price. It is quite small, compared to the larger size that I've had, which I bought in person. I can't believe I paid so much for such a small amount! Won't be buying this product online again. It was the correct item and arrived on time.
