These cut with a very easy squeeze. Love them.

I bought these for work as sometimes we are required to cut cable to length for various reasons. This does not happen often, but does happen, & when you need the right tool, you need the right tool. Have only used this cable cutter once but it worked excellently! Had to put a new end & cable lug on a power cable as the old had frayed & was losing continuity. This cable cutter cut through the cable, which was at least single ought, I had to cut it again as it seemed to easy. If you need the right tool for the job I recommend this.

I had previously purchased a red handled tool from another manufacturer and was very disappointed in the offshore quality - the jaws nicked first time I cut 10/2 cable and did not close smoothly. Next I bought a set with light blue handles, and although made in the USA, were only marginally better than the first set, so I bought these. Wow, what a difference. They cut effortlessly though cable with a very clean cut. Not sure how they increased the leverage, but they work very well.

Good tool; super sharp, cuts clean and with little effort. If possible, would be better if jaws opened wider without the need to really spread handles.

Surprisingly the smoothest cable cutter I’ ve ever had, that requires the least cutting effort. It even beats the mighty Knipex Stepcut XL. They are very close but the difference in the cutting resistance is noticeable between those two. Keep in mind I own both the regular and the XL stepcuts from Knipex, C.K. T3963, Knipex 95 11 165A, various small and big cutters from Tsunoda, etc. I usually cut 10mm stranded class 5 and 3x2,5mm solid class 1.
