Great Value and Helps Pinpoint OBD problems!
I have had several OBD readers and this is probably the best one I've ever had. I don't use the others much anymore because it is so fast and accurate.

The Live View Updates Live!
My 2011 Chevrolet Impala kept giving me the "Engine Hot / AC off" warning, and after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor and wires to it, the issue persisted. So with the live view of this Thinkcar OBD2 reader, I was able to watch the temperature rise from 92 degrees when I started the car, up to 190 degrees while driving. It's not a snapshot. It updates live, one or two degrees at a time. With this realization that the engine wasn't actually overheating, and seeing the P0128 code, I was able to figure out that the thermostat was stuck open, and learn that the "Engine Hot" error also displays when the engine hasn't reached the expected operating temperature in the expected time. So actually, the engine was too cool. I can quickly erase the code with this reader, and get the A/C working again. I replaced the thermostat, and so far that has solved the problem. For the $10 this OBD2 reader cost me, it's been a fantastic tool providing valuable insight.

Works well
Purchased for built-in airbag and abs functions. Paid for itself with a single use. That said... The interface is clunky and not at all intuitive. Requires wifi to download updates but a phone on hotspot makes a great driveway connection.

Great code OBD-2 CODE reader!
It's compact, affordable, and does more then just read codes! It also clears codes, checks O2 sensors, other sensors, and checks for smog test readiness. It's easy to use, and even has a code lookup library, so it tells you what the code error means for most cars! It also reads the vin number of the car off of the computer!

Wish I didn't need it...
I have an old Lexus RX300 that is my work car. I drive it 120 miles a day and only bought it to keep the miles off of my Jeep Wrangler. The Lexus has chronic check engine light issues and keeping the dash light off has become a very expensive hobby. This tool has been instrumental in helping me know whether I have to pull over now, send it to the shop soon, or simply reset and go on my merry way. Recently I had knock sensor issues (a major Lexus issue). When that code goes off the car goes into "limp mode" and won't shift into overdrive. That means 60 miles or more to get home at 45mph max. This tool allowed me to reset the light and get home on two separate occasions before I spent the nearly $2k on the repair. I don't really like carrying it around but its kept me from being stranded and also keeps me informed. For that it gets 5 stars.

Why pay $75 to $100 (or more) for a dealer to diagnose your vehicle?
Super easy to use. Turn the ignition (not the engine) on... plug it in... tell it to read codes and Viola! Plus, you can erase codes just as easily. You can search to see the error codes on the search engine of your choice. Oftentimes, engine controller codes are basically minor error logging and the byproduct of having a computer run your engine -- and we all know computers never have a hiccup, right? Overall, having your own OBD II is a very good value!!!

Extremely basic functions
I saw that this had "full OBD-II functions" and figured for $20 I may as well try it. It doesn't come close to my old code reader. It only reads emissions codes and nothing more. I plugged it into an old dodge truck that has more transmission codes and brake codes as well as EGR codes than I can count and got nothing on the scanner. Tried it on a newer car and it wouldn't connect. Either way it's good for $20 but it's not fully functional. It gets the basics done. If you're expecting to pull up a transmission, abs or any other code other than basic emissions stuff you're out of luck. It's not fully functional. It might be able to sneak you through an emissions test but that's about it. *Edit* I was offered a free product in exchange for changing this to a 5 star review. I'm not doing that.

I have a 2006 vectra and it works great with it. I needed a code reader to find out if a light was serious cus i cant be bothered to keep taking it garage they treat women like idiots sometimes. Some lights are just stupid and can still drive with them so i got this and its done the trick i can find the problems and fix them myself without going anywhere so overall happy customer!

Fantastic Diagnostic Tool
Brilliant little gadget! Easy to use and provided me with the trouble code, giving me peace of mind and a good understanding of how to repair. Also very easy to clear the code and turn off the engine warning light. Very impressed!
