Looks great, very bright, fully addressable and easy to work on. BTF was the name everyone spoke when looking to leds and I can literally see why.

Used in my 1950s Rockola Juke box. works awesome. I recommend oversizing the power supply to you can add more lights then you think you want.

The media could not be loaded. Yeah these are definitely for the more tech savy people but they are amazing none the less. Built them into my desk and have them connected to my computer so they can sync up with the light presets on everything else.

Love these lights. They did exactly what I wanted them to. But, more to the point, BTF's customer service has repeatedly been top notch. Had an issue with a different set of lights that was likely self inflicted. But as other reviewers have said, BTF's customer service was there to help and quickly took care of me. Probably why I keep buying from them. :)

conclusion: best around, ill buy this brand again.Requires a digital signal before the leds light, 5vdc and ground will do nothing on their own.5 VDC usually means each led is addressable, and usually a 12vdc strip means leds are addressed in sets of 3 (in the12v strips the leds are in series of 3 with a separate adddessable chip and the cut mark is much further apart than on a 5v strip)wire colors on this stripRed: 5vdcwhite: groundgreen: din (digital in)make certain you connect the start of the strip to your micro controller, all strips have arrows pointing in the direction of the digital signal traveling. The arrows point at the end, start at the beginning.Works with fast led but I did notice the order of colors for me is R B G.Comes with extra wiring attached you can just cut it off. The positive and negative each have 2 wires. The digital in is green and only has the one wire. Be alert, the green paint got on one side of the white .16.4 foot does really have 300 leds.

I used these for my first ever LED lighting project, and they worked perfectly. Plenty bright, great colors, really sturdy. My only complaint is that the adhesive backing is so sticky that I had a hard time getting the peel off so I could stick them down.

Pretty disappointed. The say addressable... Unproven so far. I have a desk top power supply. I've put 5v @ 6 amps. Which was suggested when I bought them. I cannot get the LEDs to light. I have cut off a strip of 15 to test and nothing. Not even white light. I even tried a microcontroller and neopixal code... Nothing at all.

The light strip works as advertised. Got the 16 foot version with 300 leds. Initial frustration because I used green for ground and white for data. The strip did not let out the magic smoke and works fine after I corrected my mistake. Using a Uno and the Adafruit NeoPixel library. The power needs increase quickly with so many leds. Not sure how long of a string you can power from one end using the extra power wires. Would be a good thing to add to the data sheet.The specifications for power hint that these might be RGBW leds. I have not investigated that yet.
