Much more entertaining than you would think!
This board book is delightful! I read it to a child who loves books that can be easily sung. The references to other nursery rhymes and interesting illustrations make it fun for the adult, too. I love the premise of this book! It is a fun change from the original Baa baa black sheep!

Jane Cabrera’s book are a huge hit
I’m going to give this book what I believe is the highest praise. You’re going to get really tired of reading it. I’ve read Baa Baa, Row Row Row Your Boat, and Itsy bitzy spider approximately 1 million times. I have two older grandkids, both crazy for these books. My youngest granddaughter is six months and she absolutely shivers every time I reach for this book. She’s opinionated too! Her four year old sister still comes to sit and listen. Everything works - the simple tune, the illustrations. And they are indestructible. You’ll be happy when it’s time to pass them along.

Fun book
This book is so fun! If your kid loves baba black sheep, they will enjoy this book as well. This is not your typical nursery rhyme, it has its own story. Worth it to buy.

Another Hit by Jane Cabrera
We love Jane Cabrera books. Our toddler pulls this one of the shelf and says "Baa Baa". He loves the sing song style and I appreciate the whimsical illustrations and cute ending. The board book quality is great and my toddler enjoys reading this book to himself. I highly recommend this book and all of Jane Cabrera's books for little ones to enjoy!

Great for bedtime
A little girl needs some wool for a few knitting projects, so she naturally goes to her friend, the black sheep, who has more than enough. The girl thoughtfully gives gifts to all of her friends, but when she discovers that black sheep has given up all of his wool, she decides that some more presents are in order!Jane Cabrera has developed an entire story inspired by the classic children’s poem and song. “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep” is certain to be a delight to young readers everywhere, whether parents sing the words as they go (the original goes to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”), wait until the very end to sing it all at once, or forego singing at all. Cabrera’s lovely illustrations further add to this book’s charm, with plenty of bright colors, familiar characters, and smiling faces. This picture book will quickly become a favorite for many; don’t be surprised if it becomes a regular fixture in the bedtime story rotation.Review originally written for San Francisco Book Review.)

Jane Cabrera illustrations are nice and easy on the eyes
If I could count how many times I read this book to my daughter, I am sure the number would be in thousands. She is only 23 months old can recite each page. Jane Cabrera illustrations are nice and easy on the eyes. We take the time to look at all the hidden characters on the pages. This book is fun and enjoyable.
