Hi what size heat shrink do i need for 16mm2 and 35mm2 battery cable ?

Would a hair dryer work in lieu of a heat gun.

I think it will work as long as the hair dryer gets really hot ? It will take longer obviously.... But, any heat gun will work and they aren't very expensive.

Can it be used on shoe laces

That's an interesting question! It's certainly adhesive inside, and the cable joins I do seem robust, so I suspect the answer is yes, although it is quite stiff and will be slightly proud of the original lace so it may not sit on the shoe very vell. I presume that the adhesive is primarily to seal against water entry, so I don't know what the pull strength will be.

Is the width shown really the diameter or the width when flat, i.e is the largest one 25.4mm (1") diameter or 16mm (0.6") diameter?
