Sturdy material, fits fine in 3rd gen Tacoma.
Changed to 5 stars (from 3), as it was user error. I absolutely did not realize at the time that the offset nature of the adapter shape made a difference. Recently I changed speakers from audiofrog to morel. I had to enlarge the hole I made for audiofrog tweeters. Luckily, the "guide" located in the adapters, where the material is thinner, was the exact size I needed for the new Morel Tweeters - so it was easily cut with a jigsaw. During this process is when it struck me that if I had just positioned the adapter 180 degrees from how I had it, the adapter would have fit just fine.--Installed audiofrog tweeters in my 2023 Tacoma. I used a dremel to enlarge the hole to fit my tweeter. That part was fine. Installed tweeter and adapter into truck, that part was fine. Reinstalled top grill cover, this part did not fit anymore. The adapter was is slightly too large and interferes with one the the braces on the grill cover. Either you will need to cut out part of the adapter or grind down one the braces on the grill cover.

Perfect fit
Bought these for a 17 4runner. Used padded foam to secure tweeters in adapters. Fits perfectly. Highly recommend if you want a factory look.

Easy to Modify
Was looking for something universal for my 2007 toyota camry tweeters as a replacement. The size wasn’t an exact fit for the aftermarket tweeters I purchased but these were easy to modify to work with what i needed!

Fantastic Quality!
These are very sturdy and do provide a very solid mounting location for your tweeters. As they are a little thick they do take a little more effort to create the perfect fit. The cutting is aided a bit with the recessed area, but it's worth the effort regardless.

Perfect fit!~
Used these to help have the Polk Audio dB+ Tweeters installed, and the installers were quite happy I got them as they would of had to cut the factory tweeters up to get the mounting holes.
