Ceramic Headlight Restoration Detailer Pack, 20 Wipes

I’ve used this kit 3 different times now and the coating (step 3) has been very easy to work with and amazing results. I can’t really speak for longevity just yet, but I can say after a month it’s been doing well and Louisiana heat is absolutely brutal. So first, I use the 3M headlight restoration kit with the drill attachment to prep the headlights. In my opinion, if you have headlights that are peeling, the only way to do it correctly is too sand that off. So I use the p500 on the drill, then the p800, then wet sand with the trizact 3000. Then I clean the headlights off, use my portable vacuum as a blower, and completely dry the lights. Re-tape around perimeter of the lights to make sure I don’t get any of the product on the paint, and wipe from one side all the way across slow and steady. Overlap about 50% but ONLY wiping the same direction each time. Leave the fan on to help dry them and enjoy. It’s a bit time consuming, but honestly worth it even if it only last a year! Also, cleans up emblems!

Wow, I wet sanded my headlights with 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit, cleaned them off and they looked pretty good. But then I applied this headlight wipe and wow, the lights became amazingly clear. This stuff is super easy to apply and works like magic.

I’m a detailer and this stuff is fantastic. As long as prep is done properly it’s amazing. I haven’t received a single complaint. Very durable coating. I did leave the unused packs in my truck…. Very hot summer. They dried up after 9 months or so so don’t leave them in your hot vehicle. Great product though!

These cerakote wipes are expensive but I trust them to restore my customers headlights. There are multiple steps and requires wet sanding but it is doable for the diy person. Just follow the directions to a T. If you miss a step or don’t do it in the correct order you will not get the results you want. When you get it right the lights are so crystal clear. With the added benefit of protection.
