These are possibly the best drives I have ever used. Super easy to use, zero noise, and run directly off of USB C so no other power supply needed.We have purchased nearly a dozen of these drives for everything from backups to transporting data. They are fast and very robust not to mention with a small footprint they are easy to store . I could not recommend them enough!

I got this for my video production class for college because they wanted me to store my edited videos into the 1TB drive. As expensive as it was for a broke college student like me, it was pretty worth it. It portable and really easy to use. Just a simple plug in the computer and it's instantly there. I really like how small it is, only problem with it is that it heats up a little bit fast. If you are thinking about getting this for anything gaming related, DO NOT. It not worth it, you're better buying a better external drive. This drive is for storing stuff like videos and photos or documents.

I’ve kept mine plugged in constantly for things like File History and versioned backups, and it hasn’t overheated or caused any issues, even after long stretches of use.It’s great if you regularly move, copy, or delete large files. Transfers between computers are fast, and it’s spacious enough to toss everything on without worrying about space or speed. It's especially handy for storing photos and videos—there's plenty of room, and moving them around is quick and easy.This also makes a great "emergency" drive. You can load it with critical files—photos, documents, medical history, bank records, anything you absolutely can’t afford to lose—and just stash it somewhere safe. If you ever need to leave in a hurry or your main system fails, you can just grab it and go. It’s basically a digital safe for your most important stuff.This might be overkill for use as a simple backup drive, but if you find it for a great price, then go ahead!I picked mine up “used – like new” for $89, and it came in standard packaging with no issues.
