Love that it wasn’t packed down. You don’t get as much as the packed down versions but not having to soak it is definitely a plus. It has lasted me a long time as it comes with a lot so definitely good value for money. It comes in a large bag but it is not resealable so keep that in mind. Once wet it smells like dirt and you can see the coconut fibers. Good quality. The photo I have has sphagnum moss on top so it may appear different.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered multiple bags for a vivarium project. Every bag was filled with just a very fine dust. If you’re looking for a quality product I would suggest a different brand!

5th star, idk, my Gecko would have to give it,But in my opinion it is nice and as advertised,Wish my 2 Geckos would eat less of it, but we did not have issues with it for like 6 months.

I bought this for a ball python. It was better texture than the chips that had previously been in the tank for it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:On Amazon it's listed as 10 pounds. But I got a small bag that says 5 dry quarts feels like it weighs a pound maybe a pound and a half. It's the bedding I was looking for but not what I thought I was getting. I thought I was getting way more than this.i thought it was a great price for 10 pounds. But I didn't get 10 pounds
