Perfect for My Turtle – A Natural and Safe Substrate
I recently started using Fluker’s Loose Coconut Fiber for my baby box turtle, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This product is a must-have for anyone who has reptiles or amphibians, especially those like turtles who need a safe, natural substrate to thrive. Natural, Safe Bedding What I love about this coconut fiber is that it’s 100% natural and provides a safe environment for my turtle. It holds moisture well, which is important for creating the right humidity in his habitat. It also prevents odors, keeping the tank clean and fresh. Perfect for Burrowing Turtles love to burrow, and this coconut fiber provides a great texture that allows my turtle to dig and explore. It’s soft, yet firm enough for him to make little burrows, just like he would in the wild. It encourages his natural behaviors, which is always a win for me as a pet owner. Easy to Use and Clean The fiber is easy to spread in his tank and doesn’t clump like some other bedding materials. It’s also incredibly easy to spot-clean, and when it’s time for a full tank clean, it’s simple to remove and replace. The bag lasts quite a while too, making it a cost-effective option for turtle owners. Great for Moisture Retention Coconut fiber holds moisture really well, which helps maintain the humidity level in the tank. This is essential for my turtle’s health, and it helps prevent any dry spots in his habitat. Final Verdict: A Top Choice for Turtle Owners If you’re looking for a natural, safe, and effective bedding option for your turtle, Fluker’s Loose Coconut Fiber is definitely the way to go. It’s easy to use, great for humidity, and keeps my turtle happy and healthy. ✔ Pros: Natural, safe, great for burrowing, moisture retention, easy to clean ✘ Cons: None—this bedding is perfect for my turtle! Would I buy it again? Yes—this is my go-to substrate for my turtle’s tank!

Good for ball pythons
My snake loves it!!! He is so happy and so am I knowing he can't get this stuff caught in his scales like he can wood chips! It soaks up water like a towel. Nice texture and holds the humidity for him.

soil itself is loose, good texture without lumps or unpleasant odors. 5 OZ.
Overall, the product is good. When I ordered it, during payment I saw 10 pounds indicated on the package where the price was shown. In reality, only 5 ounces arrived. This was disappointing. The soil itself is loose, good texture without lumps or unpleasant odors. I ordered it for compost worms.

NOT A 10 POUND BAG!
Read product information thoroughly! Product description states 5 quart bag but also in other sections states it is a 10 pound bag. IT IS NOT A 10 POUND BAG! No where near the value if you think its a 10 pound bag.

Good for Tarantulas
I really like this for my Tarantulas. I have tried things with Peat Moss and Spaghnum Moss, and for some reason I am highly allergic to them. This works good. No mold problems as of yet, I've used it for six months, and so easy to use. Just pour it out of the bad and tamp it down a bit. The only bad part is that the Crickets can hide in it easily. Not a problem for a hungry tarantula. The price is not terrible. I'm not expert on substrate but it works well for my T's.
