Honeywell Adjustable Face Shield (RWS-51032)

A little struggle to get the shield attached to the band. But I feel that the value for the money and quality of this shield makes up for it. Head band adjusts easily, shield is plenty big to cover full face and neck. Safety first!

Noticed this mask on a Hospital employee and thought, "wow I need one of those" I shared my interest with the employee, she was very helpful with the information. I found it, bought 6 of them "Just in case" hopefully they will last a while. Little difficult getting the shield attached to the visor, directions come with it, however they are ONLY in spanish. Figured it out, works well with my industry. People laugh at times, I simply advised them "I'm more prepared than you are, now looks who's not laughing" !!!

I am satisfied with this shield once I figured out how to assemble it. The lack of a clear instruction is the reason for the 4 star rating. The sketch on the sticker inside the support is grossly inadequate in helping clarify the assembly. It took me several tries to get the shield secure to the headband. It was easier with a helping hand.

Was a little tricky to put together but for my needs this product is ideal. The 99.9% UV protection number seems to be true, as I'm using this in a phototherapy booth which is exclusively UVB light with no problems of overexposure. The shield is lightweight which I find to be a good thing, but it might not be as ideal for flying debris situations. Shields rated to 100% UV cost 5 or 6 times as much, so this is a good lower cost option. I just wish it was a little more comfortable and the adjustable strap stayed where I put it.

I wish I had read the 1 star reviews before buying. Either there's no quality control or counterfeit products are getting through somehow. The plastic shield is very opaque. It's like trying to look through a glass bottle. Very blurry, gave me a headache. Save your money.The first picture is what it looks like trying to look through the face shield. Can't see! What's the point!?

Durable face shield, it will do the job as advertised, protect your face from flying debris, and fluid splash. Please use protective goggles if your occupation requires it, this is not to be used in lieu of that.This face shield is on the heavy side. If you are thinking of buying this to protect yourself against Covid-19, then this may or may not be the product for you. It is fine if you will be wearing this for a short period of time, ie., grocery runs, or walking the dog. If you plan on wearing this for an extended period of time (for your job, that does not require industrial strength face protection), you will be better off buying a face shield with the thin plastic film with a piece of foam on the top.Wearing this face shield is about the same as having a can of soda on your head. This face shield, when fully assembled with the headgear, weighs 11.85 ounces, whereas a standard can of soda is 12.

Some reviewers talk about plastic film to be removed from the lens. Mine, purchased 12/27/2020, did not have any plastic film for protection. Apparently, the maker has switched to tissue paper. The lens shows a lot of scuff marks which make the view slightly cloudy. I'm trying to decide whether to return it for that reason.I had a hard time assembling the parts; it seemed like an extra hand or two would help. My 30-something son offered to help and had it together in about 10 seconds. I was trying to be gentle with it and his approach was more like, "If it isn't working, push harder."The weight doesn't seem like an issue to me, and the adjustable suspension works well.

This face shield is adjustable making it fit a range of head sizes. It is of a good quality and a great value for the money. Very clear to view through.
