Sturdy but complex
This is an almost exact replacement for a very specialized 20+ year old hinge. Works fine. The only difference is the attachment fasteners. The original used standard wood screws and small plastic inserts embedded in the door. The new hinge uses a cam type fastener. The original plastic inserts must be removed. I drilled them out easily with a bit exactly matching the diameter of the new fasteners. Very easy and it worked perfectly. Only gripe is very slow shipping! Plan to wait a week!
