Namaste Foods Perfect Flour Blend, 48 oz

I have recently become gluten intolerant and have been looking for an as-close-to wheat flour substitute and Namaste delivered. I have tried Pamela's Gluten Free Baking and Pancake mix but was extremely disappointed. It was bitter, salty, and completely inedible. Namaste Perfect Flour Blend was 500x better, not kidding. This flour is very fine and works well for everything from bread to chocolate chips cookies. The bread recipe on the side of the bag was absolutely delicious, so much so that I made another loaf two days later because my first loaf was already gone! For anyone gluten free this is the flour for you. It is absolutely wonderful! Thank you Namaste!

Probably the best gluten free product out there and no potato that makes things gritty and no health cursing soy garbage... Makes awesome tasting food that actually is a good texture. We use it all the time to make pancakes, cakes, brownies and biscuits. Does pretty okay with tortillas and crepes too.

My daughter has food issues and she recommended I use this product to bake for her. I did, she loved the goodies I made. Hesitant at first, I didn't taste the items, but when I did, I was amazed how wonderfully delicious they were.

So far I haven't had much success making pancakes with this gf flour blend which is the primary reason I purchased it. I didn't get the pancake mix at the time because I wanted the flexibility to use it for other things too. The pancake recipe on their website seems to only work well with very precise measurements and medium sized eggs and the pancakes still are just ok. If you want gf pancakes - I LOVE their gf pancake mix- it is much more forgiving and gives the pancakes a wonderful texture and flavor. They are delish! With various gf cookie recipes, this product has been great. And, I was even able to adapt their banana bread recipe (I don't like banana bread much) to a basic muffin recipe. It gets four stars and not five because the recipes provided haven't really worked for me. Final note: this brand is the only gluten free flour that I have found that is also soy free and potato free (no nightshades - if you don't know what nightshades are then you probably don't need to know) so if that's what you need I do highly recommend this brand's product line.

Make sure you do not order this online as it is not returnable. I received this today and it expires in September. Two months. Typically these flours have an expiration date when purchased of YEARS.

Great flour, use it all the time. Miss having it in Costco. In some recipes you can cut the flour measurements down a bit.

This is one of my go-to allergen free flours. I combine it with Bob's 1-1 gluten free and it makes great goodies!

My all time favourite gluten-free flour!! A superb combinations of flours with xanthan gum already added making a fantastic cup for cup replacement for old family favorite recipes that need to be gluten-free.

I like the flavour with this flour. No weird aftertaste. It bakes smooth, no grainy texture. A very good replacement for standard flour. My first choice.

This flour has worked beautifully so far, it made one of the best chocolate glaze cakes I've had in years and a great batch of chocolate chip cookies. I'm allergic to potato so I was so relived to find a blend without potato starch that works so well. It's pricey but worth it for me!

Update. Still never heard from the seller. What a shame. I just purchased two bags of Namaste flour from two different places. They both have the same lot number. They are both musty. One was purchased at a sobey's grocery store. The other was purchased on Amazon. Had to throw them both out.. Can't find any way to contact Amazon for reimbursement... I've never had a problem with this flower before, and it has been the absolute best flour to use. I'm a little concerned because I've ordered two more bags off of Amazon a while back and I fear that it might be the same Lot number. Thanks for your time. Susan Oakley
