JML Swivel Sweeper Cordless Vacuum Cleaner – Rechargeable Floor Sweeper

I bought this out of desperation. My dog attacked a feather pillow, and my house is full of feathers. You would not believe just how many feathers there are.My broom won't move them, my stick vacuum just seems to spread them around.I ordered this almost as a last resort. The down side is that it is very slow, but it can move the feathers. So it is definitely an impressive tool for the money. In fact, where I have moved some feathers, there is deep down grit that my stick vacuum had left as well as the damned feathers. This is really quite impressive, and definitely has earned its 5* rating.However I have ordered a Vax pet cleaner, and that is the next challenge for this little sweeper. So currently its only possible rival has cost £160. So it really is taking on the big boys.Although I have spoken to a carpet cleaner, and he laughed and told me to buy a carpet rake, apparently it is the only way to solve the issue, but I had to leave a review of this amazing bit of kit.*Edited to include this*Final order of results.The winner for picking up feathers is the £150 pet vacuum cleaner. That is probably not surprising.Second, was this little JML electric broom for about £22Third was my stick vacuum that cost about £140And finally my 'special' broom that cost about £25 and is supposed to charge electrostatically and attract detritus (it doesn't appear to do that though 😁)So, low cost and simple it may be, but it is a really capable bit of kit 👍

WOW! THIS is a lifesaver. I'm so exstremely happy I bought this.I had a huge problem. I have been trying to get the money together to invest in a very expensive çordless stick vacume, but I can't seem to do it as other expenses keep swallowing up anything I manage to save. My current vacume does an outstanding job, mainly due to the powerful suction, is exstremely hard work for me. Having suffered with an ongoing illness for over 40 years, resulting in 9 operations atlas count, its left me with severe restrictions regarding heavy household chores. Having a rough collie (Ĺassie) dog, causes Aaron problems with her all year round , Brushing her daily helps but ideally I need yo vacume daily. With my current vacume, that would really set me back healthwise.I came up with the idea uf a ewbank sweeper to try to effortlessly keep up with my never ending dog hair problem.When I saw this powered ewbank type sweeper, i decided to give its try. It turned out to far surpassed anything I expected. Itsvthe perfect elution yo my problem.The only drawback is the fur that gets wrapped around the brushes, which I have to remove after each session. However, this is a very small price to pay for what has turned out to beLiterally a GODSEND.The suction , for the size of the battery, is amazing. Visit light as a feather and so easy to use, I am more than happy with its all round benefits. Its made saving for its expensive competition, no longer a priority, and at a price even affordable on my meagre budget, it seems almost too good to be true.I absolutely recommend it not only to collie dog owners, but to anyone who struggles with heavy work.EdAll this because 9f my precious dog Chica. She's my best friend and worth it.

Nice and handy for a quick clean up

First, let us be clear, this does not replace your vacuum cleaner - it doesn't support the tools and attachments that are usually provided with a vacuum cleaner. That said, this is unbeatable as a floor and carpet cleaner. It easily picks up objects such as small stones and cat litter that my vacuum cleaner struggles with. The swivel head and brush design make it extremely manoeuvrable, allowing it to get into tight corners, under furniture, and it cleans right up to the edges. It's extremely lightweight, taking the effort out of cleaning stairs. So easy to empty and clean, and it folds up for easy storage. At the price, this is a snip.

I purchased a JML Swivel Sweeper for an elderly relative who wanted something lightweight and easy to use now and again, rather than having to get their vacuum cleaner out.All the parts come individually wrapped and are fairly easy to assemble.The sweeper is extremely lightweight, which is great, but also makes it feel slightly cheap and flimsy.The battery life is good, and the charge time swift. The swivel feature and back saving elbow joint are good for manoeuvrability.I’ve tested it on cushion flooring, flat pile carpet and carpet with a pile. It works brilliantly on cushion flooring, but doesn’t work at all well on any carpet, mats or rugs. Luckily my relative only wants to use it on flat vinyl cushion flooring.If you’re buying the JML sweeper with the intention of using it on carpet, then I’d certainly look elsewhere!I’d say it was overpriced too for the overall build quality. OMG what a load of rubbish, and how they can justify the price is beyond me. I ordered this for my elderly mum who is struggling with a standard upright rechargeable hover. But this is crap, with a capital C! The clear perspex cover keeps coming off whilst trying to sweap up. The unit constrantly flicks over mid-way through cleaning, the dirt that was eventually sucked up keeps coming back out becuase when the unit flicks over the dirt tray opens. It's very noisy, the handle is so flimsy I doubt it will last more than a couple of weeks at best. All in all, it's rubbish and not fit for purpose. The only good thing I can say about it is yes it's light weight and the battery does last quite a while and doesn't take long to charge. But would I recommend - no. would I buy again - no. I have requested to return the item and whilst JML are saying I need to pay the return postage, I am arguing via Amazon that given the machine is obviously faulty, then I the customer should not be expected to pay return postage, which Amazon have agreed with me and have instructed JML to send me a pre-paid return label, which I am still waiting for. Best advise I can give is don't buy this product then you wont have need to argue over who pays return postage when you return it, because I am sure you will be returning it, if you do decide to ignore the negative reviews and order it.

Love this little thing! Usually use long brush and dustpan to go round edges but this little thing picks them up and also cat litter which sinks down edges. Good on other areas as well. Takes up less space than dustpan and brush, easy to empty and so light and manoeuvrability great. Haven’t used my Shark vacuum for weeks!
