Great range of sounds, British made, feels more expensive the the price it's being sold for.
I'm really enjoying this pedal. It looks and feels more 'high end' than I expected from the photos. It has a very nice finish, a nice weight and the pots are quality, they're firm to the turn and feel like they'll last a long time.Sounds-wise it has a great overdrive and two distortion options. To my ears the distortions are more raspy, brighter and more open sounding than the overdrive, but there's a *lot* of variation available with the distortion, range and tone controls.Check out the Guitar Interactive review on YouTube as I think that the pedal sounds exactly like that in real life.

Exceptional quality pedal.
Excellent build quality, love this pedal and really helps me get that early sabbath sound.

Not just for the Black Sabbath sound.
I generally don't use effects very often but I do build my tone the old-fashioned way by running an always-on booster into the front of a good valve amp set just on the edge of breakup - ie. 60s to early 70s gain levels on the amp (like a Plexi or maybe the Normal channel of an AC30). As such, I rely on a good booster to get my tone where I need it.As it happens, I've always been a big fan of Tony Iommi's playing but, since my Laney amp already has a built-in booster, that's not what I bought this for. In the main, I've been using it between a Strat and a Marshall JVM and it sounds great. Although it's based on Iommi's old modded Rangemaster, it's much meatier sounding than my own Rangemaster and really makes the Strat sing. But it's equally good with my Gibsons. Great little unit. Similar features to the Spark booster I use with my backup Marshall but better tonally and a much more solid and rugged build quality - this is the booster I'll be using with the band from now on.

A tone shaping amp driver
I purchased this because I needed to push the front end of a Rocker 15 and shape the tone to give a more modern metal edge. The reason I plumped for this pedal over countless others is due to the excellent sound demo of the Rocker 15 given by Sonic Drive Studios. In this video he plays one song that goes from chimey cleans, though gradually more overdriven/distorted sections all the way to a modern metal tone. This was the pedal he used towards the end of the video (not endorsed) to drive the amp hard into modern gain territory. I thought for £90 it’s worth the gamble. I wasn’t disappointed! The magic of this pedal for what I required lay with both the insane amount of clean boost (30db) that will push the front of my amp more than any other pedal I own, but also with the bass and treble tone shaping controls… these are set flat at the halfway mark, so I can remove any bassy flub and add treble to taste. There is also a pre-mid boost/low pre-mid boost to help thicken tone if you need it, as well as a gain control you can use over a clean amp for different flavours. Silent switching, excellent build quality, lovely packaging too!The ONLY issue I have is the rubber feet on the bottom… they just make it a little fiddly to mount to a pedalboard. If you’re still unsure, Tom Quayle also has an excellent YouTube review, and that guy knows tone.

Works fantastic with a Pignose Amp!
Works fantastic with a pignose amp to give extra dirt at lower volume without losing tone.Easily the best od pedal I have used - love it!

Epic
A very nice reverb. I love the tone shaping for the reverb trails. You can make some really spooky sounding ambient guitar parts. The pre delay feature is great. The secret path with the added modulation is just heavenly.Spring and plate settings are perfect.

Good sound. Very brittle.
I love the sounds this gives me, but the pedal itself broke far too quickly, the knobs fell of it within a week.

Pedal
Very good pedal, adds drive and boost to a dirty amp,or as an overdrive to a clean channel.NOT a high gain distortion pedal.
