Holy Mackerel
I don't eat a lot of mackerel outside of these things so I don't know too much about how they should taste. These are tasty but much drier than sardines (which is normal according to our AI overlords). I generally slather them in hot sauce or with some homemade mayo (or both if I'm feeling crazy).

Thank you for giving us an amazing and best tasting Mackarel…
The best quality and best tasting mackerel in the market, no other brand can compare to the taste and quality of this brand.

Wish they weren’t out!
Seems like there’s a global mackerel shortage, which is a shame because we love these ones, especially having been tested by Consumer Lab to be lowest in toxicity compared to other brands. They’re such a convenient and healthy addition to salads or in a snack plate.

Yummy
I do add tinned fish to my salads sometimes, or I might just open a can to have with crackers and mustard. These are an excellent product.

I can't stand canned tuna. But I like canned Mackerel, and this one is the best.
I've been trying to work more omega 3s into my diet, and this is a fast, great tasting option for when I don't have a lot time, and I want something healthy to eat.I've been buying King Oscar Skinless & Boneless Mackerel Fillets in Olive Oil and it's pretty good, but to me it doesn't taste like they're using extra-virgin olive oil. The fish isn't well packed—more like just jammed in the can any which way—so with each can, you never know what you're going to get.On the other hand, the Wild Planet Wild Mackerel Fillets taste like they're packed in extra-virgin olive oil, and the fillets are stacked with care, maintaining their shape. I really appreciate that attention to detail, if they're that focused on the placement of the fish in the can, that tells me they're a producer who is trying to deliver the best product available. I also really like that they test their catch for heavy metals, and they taste really good. My only complaint is that it took several weeks to get them, and a couple of cans arrived bent, but I think that was the shipper's fault. It looked like someone threw the box on its corner. Overall, I highly recommend Wild Planet Wild Mackerel Fillets. They may cost a slightly more than King Oscar, but the price difference is more than worth it.

Nice flavor
Tastes very good and very mild but some of that is because there is no skin. Not really fillets, more like chunks of meat. Very healthy and clean meat. I do enjoy them for a snack.

Great taste, heart healthy and nutrients in a small package
I get the sardine versions from Costco. Wish they sold this version there as well. Great source of protein and Omega-3 in a small package if your counting calories. Just add some lemon to it if you want to change it up and you have a great little snack/meal. Pair this with some greens and you're good to go, very light eating and delicious. Can eat right out the can, taste great just in the EVOO. Ate this as part of my calorie deficit routine and helped with losing weight to what I should be.
