I like the pitcher, however that wasn't the one that was sent. I returned it.
I have one of these pitchers, and have used it for years. We twisted the top too hard and broke the little pin inside. The pitcher is still usable, but I decided to get a new one that was unbroken. Unfortunately, this model isn't being made anymore, and Amazon shipped the newer model instead. That model has a rocker closure instead of a twist closure. It cannot be dissassembled for cleaning and doesn't have a spout. I didn't use it before returning, but it looks like juice would accumulate in the rocker mechanism in the top. I decide to return the one sent, and just keep using my old pitcher. Note that the new model is cheaper, so ordering the older one is just throwing money away.

Let me try to clear up the dripping issue if I can.
OK, i was little set off by the comments about the dripping issues but with that said i went and ordered 2 of these. I think i have found the issue with the dripping. When you remove the blue twist valve to clean it and i agree you should do this everytime you use it, very easy to do. Its when you replace the blue valve insert is the problem. When you put it back in, it looks like it is all the way down but, it is not. You have to push it in all the way in and twist it sometimes before you will FEEL IT SNAP INTO PLACE. You dont feel this when you push it out from inside when you remove it. THIS IS A GREAT DEAL FOR A PITCHER. As usual this stuff has little quirps you have to figure out to make it work. When you replace the valve and the valve snap close dosent click like it did at first, then the valve is not seated all the way in. It feels snug as a bug when you put it back in but if you dont feel the snap, its not all the way back in. YOU WILL FEEL IT SNAP, VERY PREVELENT WHEN IT DOES! Like I said, on one of the 2 it would only snap all the way down with a twist on the valve as i was pushing. Make sure you have the snap lock in the right place when you snap it it, somewhere around 8 oclock or you will have to do it again. On a schedule of 1 to 10 for plastic pitchers for half gallon units this is 10 compared to known units out there. If your pitcher is dripping (leaking), it is faulty this is my thought on the matter. It's big enuff for mixing frozen canned orange juice to. I use it for mixing Walmart Great Value powdered milk, works great.

Wonderful for make-your-own soy milk! Recipe included.
Really good product. Worth the money I paid for it. I like how every part can be taken apart to be cleaned. And it is leak proof.I make my own soy milk. Here is how it is done:1) Take 120mL (½ cup) of raw soybeans and soak in water with one change of water during this time.2) After four hours of soaking, put the soybeans in a pot and fill with about 20-30oz of water.3) Bring to a boil and then simmer for at least 10 minutes. Let cool a bit. No need to rush.4) Put soybeans and water into the Vitamix. Add ½ cup sugar. (I prefer to use honey or raw sugar.) Fill Vitamix with water to about ⅔ full. Start the blending and increase the speed to highest speed. Blend for 2 minutes.5) Transfer the whole mixture to the System Klip It Juice Jug. Fill it with water all the way to the top. This will get the proper concentration for the soy milk.6) Before serving, violently shake the juice jug. Turn it upside down to check that all the soybean sedimentation is churned back into the liquid.Enjoy!

Love it!
I love Sistema products, I've never been unhappy with a single purchase. The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars is because the dimensions are incorrect. The measurements didn't take into account the turning mechanism on the top of the spout making it too tall for my refrigerator shelves. Luckily it is nice and compact and fits perfectly into one of the large door compartments, including the height. For comparison, I have a stainless KitchenAid French door, bottom freezer with internal water dispenser and ice maker in the freezer drawer (not on the front of the appliance for a clean look). The shelves are separated by the highest and lowest bracket settings and it didn't fit at all. I made sure to measure because I actually have trouble with 2L bottles as well, they have to be laid down on thier side and juice bottles have to be wiggled a bit to fit as well if I want to keep them on a shelf instead of the door. It's a big fridge but the shelf spacing can be a bit of a challenge.

Sistema Brand Of Food And Drink Containers Are Great!
First of all, I LOVE the Sistema brand of containers. I had the Noodle Bowl cup for the past year and used it all the time for soups and oatmeal, etc. I didn't realize that they also made juice containers, until I started a diet and had to drink more water. I like ice water when it is hot out or if I am very thirsty, but for the most part I don't really like water.I figured I could improve the taste of water by cutting up oranges, lemons and limes and let them "steep." This pitcher is made well and you have a knob on the top to open and close the pitcher, which with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my wrists, is very important. I was always been a kind of a klutz, but now it is ridiculous. All of the Sistema Klip Its are very help for freezing, cold drinks, reheats and especially with soup. The pitcher washes up easily and even after leaving the oranges, lemons and limes in the pitcher for some time there does not seem to have any odors, which is important when having a variety of other cold drinks in there. If anything occurs that require a change in my review, I will come back and update this review.''''''''''
