After I had watched a movie that featured Vallenata music, from Columbia, where the musicians all wore this style of hat, I decided to look for one on the web. I found this one at Amz. Since the third party merchant had described the hat as "one size fits all" I was a little concerned that the fit would not be right. But luckily it fits my head just right. I wear a mens' size 7-1/8. It did come with an external adjustable strap, but I will not need that. Hard to say how it would work if the hat is too large. Obviously if you wear a larger size, probably will not fit. It is a very well made hat. Light weight straw, and beautiful design. Can't wait till the weather warms up so I can start wearing it outside.
