LOVE THIS SHAMPOO!!! makes my thick hair feel so good!

This shampoo actually seems to be helping my incredibly dry, damaged, and brittle (over-processed) hair on its slow journey to recovery. Rusk Deepshine products in general have succeeded where many (okay, like TONS of) other brands have failed. They are gentle, helpful, have a subtle and non-annoying, beachy fragrance that fades quickly, and most importantly, they leave my hair feeling and behaving better.Here's more about that last point: I have fine, but also coarse hair, super prone to frizz, but easily pushed to flat and dirty-looking by oils, leave-ins, lotions, etc. I simply can't put much of anything in my hair without it either doing nothing for the frizz, or immediately needing to be washed again (or worse, and most common: both). Most leave-ins make it feel, in a word, icky.Obviously, nobody leaves shampoo in their hair (unless it's dry shampoo--another thing I can't use), but the shampoo is the base upon which all of your other products build. Fine, dry, tangly hair needs a shampoo that won't further damage it, or leave it feeling unclean, but also works to lay the cuticle down a bit. Conditioners help, but when you're coping with damage, you're probably going to use a conditioner with some protein, which can add to the tangly/frizzy situation once the hair dries. Protein on its own makes my hair crunchy.Somehow the combination of this shampoo and either my conditioner (Pureology Smooth Perfection) or deep treatment (RUSK Deepshine Smooth Keratin Care) retains the smoothness essential to hair that like mine cannot have ANY products added again until completely dry. This regimen keeps my hair smooth and clean-feeling while drying. Once it's dry, I can add some Rusk Deepshine Lustre and a little Jele Gloss, let that set until dry, and then style. My hair feels thicker and smoother, looks shiny, and retains its clean feeling for the three days one needs to wait to shampoo again when dealing with damaged hair.

Great product especially for hair with keratin treatment

This is a Good Shampoo; it is totally worth the $29.95 for the 25 ounce size. Good after color-treatment. Goes with the 'suite' of Rusk Deepshine Colors (many shades, each to mix 1 to 1.5 parts of developer, either permanent or 'demi'). Unfortunately Amazon is not carrying the *coloring* line...but they Sure Orta. My own personal scalp tends to the <very> oily, so I have to wash again the very next day after using this....but that's true of most 'gentle' shampoos for me. YMMV.

Love this for my colored hair! Red, purple, mint, it's kept my color going and my hair makes a quicker recovery as well. My hair is medium-long length and I wash my hair 1-2 a week, this lasted me MONTHS. Great value for the price, love the conditioner that goes with this too.

I have thick colored blonde hair well past my shoulders. Hate washing it every other day because it's a process. I'm not a fan of conditioner all the time, so if I don't use a detangler it takes me 15 minutes to comb through. This shampoo is fantastic. My hair does not look like a birds nest when I'm done washing and the shine is fantastic. Better than almost every shampoo I've ever tried. And believe me, I've sampled everything from cheap to really expensive. If you spend a fair amount of money coloring your hair and want it to remain looking nice, I definitely recommend this product.

The lid was not closed or taped down and leaked out onto the other products that was in the same box.
