Great Buy and Easy Peel Off Plastic Film
Purchased this back in 2016 and 3 years later of regular use, it's still working like a charm. It's a bit of a learning curve to insert the brushes without knocking over the product or ruining the brushes I already put in. Once you get this down, the process is easier.Pros:-Collapsible for storage-Well Packaged (Lots of bubble wrap)-Replaced the paper with easy to peel off plastic film.-Holds a lot of brushes in various sizes-Can insert more than one brush into each section depending on the brush size-Silicone and plastic stayed sturdy so far (no cracks and still holds the brushes well)Cons:-Can be tricky to align the top to the stand perfectly the first time-Not weighted so it can easily be knocked over (be sure to put this where it won't get accidentally pushed off the table)-Can be difficult to pull out the brushes after use-Silicone seems to be a magnet for shimmer-If the brush is too small, it'll be held at an angle instead of straight-If you're expecting this to dry your brushes faster than laying it angled on a towel, it won't speed up the process too much.Overall, I really enjoy this product and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to buying a hanging brush tree. I recommend squeezing the brushes with a microfiber towel to help remove excess water after rinsing before inserting the brushes in the tree. Is it better than laying it at an angle on a microfiber towel with one end rolled up? Not really, but nonetheless this product does what it's supposed to and is a great buy.

Works like it should. Can't beat that.
I saw this as I was searching for something else and wondered if it would even be useful. After I spent 4 hours cleaning all of my brushes, I realized yeah, it is. For my really nice brushes, I want to take care of them. That means keeping water out of the ferrule if possible. Never soak the brush, just use a nice brush cleaner pad or saddle soap and swirl it around and work the dirt out. Cup your hand under the water and swirl the brush in it to rinse it. Tap the brush firmly on the heel of your hand several times to shake off any excess water and separate the bristles so they reshape nicely rather than stuck together. Pick up the brush holder and stick the brush in from the bottom so the bristles are ALWAYS pointing DOWN while there is water on the bristles. Fill up the inner holes first and the edges last. Let them dry an hour or so then flick your finger through the bristles again to get air in there and get any water out. When they are dry, pull them out and you're done. Folds up nicely to tuck in a drawer. Yeah, there's a brown film on it, but carefully just pull that off and it's black underneath. I suppose you could even use it to store your brushes in by just flipping the tray over with the brushes in it after they are dry and sticking it back on the stand, but I don't do that. It's cheap and it works, so I'm all about this thing.

Best brush drying system
Received item in 2 days, well packaged. I already have one of these and this one was purchased for a friend. By far the best brush drying system I've tried. Silicone grips keep brush in place to dry upside down. This helps brush keep its shape and protects the joint where the bristles are connected. I've tried at least 4 or 5 other drying methods. I use for makeup brushes but could be used for artist brushes as well.

Funky smell yet great essential!
When you get the item you'll receive it in 3 pieces in brown rather than black to prevent scratching the shiny plastic not to mention the whiff of a strange smell. It's not toxic or anything just peal off the brown protective covering, use it a few times then it'll go away it really gets the job done. Dries my brushes with in a day and you don't have to worry about the water traveling up the shaft and limiting the life of your make up brushes.

I gave this 3 stars because it's not completely useless. I do like having something to dry my make-up brushes on, instead of leaning them on the counter (you shouldn't lay brushes straight down) but the stand is really flimsy. One wrong/minor pull, push or tug and the whole thing collapses. I would recommend this if you want to use it Strictly as a dryer but don't try to sit your brushes in this while doing your makeup. It'll constantly fall and irritate you.

Great purchase
Nice well built stand, does the job. Only complaint is the sticker that protects it is very hard to get off easily, just a thin sticker that rips multiple peices other then all together. Other then that love it

So simple, why didn't I think about this? LOLDoes what it says and works great. You just slide the stand onto the top part. Insert your makeup brushes and let dry. Its very sturdy too.Only one complaint: I did not received a black one as I asked, it was cardboard color and feel. But I do not leave it out, so the color really doesn't bother me.
