Very impressed
Works as expected, we have used this for one season so far and we have been very pleased. Both children and adults have used this and it creates a gentle top and a nice spring back as well

Glad we bought it
The media could not be loaded. Was told to buy an extra spring for our zip line. Glad we did! Helps prevent and chances of coming close to the tree.

Junk
Reading "Heavy Duty" in the description is what convinced me to purchase the product. It is anything but ! You can compress it with your hands, let alone having it SAFELY bring your child to a stop on a zipline. It was the most expensive brake I saw on the site at that time. Now I see them at half price what I paid. I believe this product is unsafe. I tried to return it but I timed out and they will not give me a refund. Rated One star only because it didn't allow a 'no' star rating.

Item is as described but this doesn't work nearly as well as I had hoped.
My nephew is 11 years old, the kid is 5'5" and about 120lb. This did not break his fall nearly enough to prevent him from stopping before the end of the break line. I likely should have bought the smaller break given the size of the zipline used. You'll likely need at least two of these to stop your kid(s) from hurting themselves at the end of the zipline.

Added for extra stopping capacity
Added this spring brake to our existing zipline. Totaling 13' of braking on our 100' zipline. Works greats to slow the kids down enough that they aren't getting "bucked" around at the end. Worth the money for safety.
